Still a little too big brother-y for our liking, but we can see how the information would be useful.

You know how you TiVo things like old reruns of Friends and Ringer (not anymore) and you fast forward through the commercials. Well, that's the beauty of the whole "recording live TV" thing, isn't it? You never have to watch something you don't want to. Well, we've learned something every inneresting about what TiVo is doing while you are fast-forwarding through those commercials, particularly when you are skipping ads for upcoming movies.

Raise your hand if you saw Drive? Well, there's quite a few of you, but not so many that we're going WOW! Well, Tivo kind of already knew it would do as huge as the studio wanted it to just by watching you all FF'ding through the promos. According to their analysts, 25% of people skipped past ads for the Nicolas Winding Refn’s flick.

Considering that this information upheld their theory that ad-skipping means movie-skipping, TiVo is suggesting that the new Three Musketeers movie is going to flop as 20% of people aren't taking the time to watch the promos for the 3D adventure.

Pretty uselessful information, if they're willing to share it with the studios. Bad news bears for The Three Musketeers though. Whomp, whomp!

Why did they even make this? Didn't one come out like 6 years ago to medeocre reception? It's not even a sequal. Doesn't take a genius to tell that this will bomb - what's more interesting is how it got made in the first place. Whoever cares about the Three Musketeers is dead - you don't hear anything about the kids being interested in thier lore as of late.

This will flop horribly. Terrible marketing. Probably the same people that marketed "I am number four"

Obviously, this film is being marketed to gay men and gay men only. And gay men probably wont pay money to see it because its not porn. No heterosexual man would want to see it. Teenagers think that time period lame. Old ladies might like it but it seems too dumb and they cant recognize the actors, plus they made a musketeers 10 years ago. How does this get green-lighted and how come they are not fired?

No audience for this film. See " I am Number four"
