Rosie's Numbers Drop Even More!

Rosie Show Not Doing Well

Rosie's new show is not doing so hot — and has dropped from 500,000 viewers to 417,000 on day two.

This is not good news for both the show AND the network. We kinda get the feeling that Oprah was banking on Rosie's return drawing in huge numbers.

Have you seen it? Do U think it's worth the watch, or do U think it'll drift away??

That's a good photo of Rosie! The pressure on a new tv show now days is horrible. Give it time to grow on people.

  2. 2

    I love Rosie.

  3. 3

Last time I saw a head like that, it was attached to a water buffalo.

  4. 4

She should've picked a different network.

  5. 5

i love the show. hope it stays.

  6. 6

watched as much of the first episode as I could handle… turned after about 20 mins…

  7. 7

    I love the show……

    Rosie is a nasty skank

I haven't seen it but that is a great photo of Rosie!Pretty

I watched the first three shows. The first one was horrible. Some of the opening few minutes were ok. The interview with Russel Brand sucked. The other two nights the same thing. I removed it from my tivo already. Doubt that I will ever watch it again. I like Rosie and I listed to her radio show almost everyday and was upset when she left it. But I think that she made a mistake going to the own network.

  11. 11

I tried to watch it and it was a bore!! I think maybe rosie is being to family friendly!!

  12. 12

I keep forgetting there is a OWN network, actually looked, channel 180 on my system… lost among repeats of channels, and other crap channels I don't go near….. and in the beginning, Oprah there, had very very very little original programing-other then her very very very close friend Gayle and 'behind the scenes of Oprah's final season', or something anal like that. Everytime I passed by, I saw posted OLD DISCOVERY CHANNEL RERUNS. Very old ones. Mystery Diagnosis in the ER type shows, Trading Spaces I think was on, all which were run and rerun on Discovery.

No, haven't bothered to see it yet, won't bother to in the future. On the contrary, looks likw it was Oprah trying to do Rosie a favor, hoping that her networks worth would automatically pull in the ratings for Rosie. Because she's Oprah after all. But as much as I admire and respect Oprah, I will not give Rosie O'D another minute of my time besides this post. Rosie - for someone who yaps and grips about tolerance in this world, you sure don't have very much of it yourself. THAT is why your shows are no longer worth my time (and by the looks of it, not many others either) And before you start griping, it has nothing to do with your being gay for sh*ts sake, so please don't even start with all your "they hate me because I'm a lesbian" and all your absurd "homophobic" remarks about people who don't watch you anymore. Practice what you preach girl. Stop hating on people who don't agree with you, and maybe, just maybe in turn, people would stop hating on you as well. If you want the ratings, you have to appeal to the public. Hating on them does no good, especially to yourself when your livelihood - as in ratings - depends on it.

I love Rosie but wasn't a fan of the show. It seems like a day time show in the early evening. The format needs to be adjusted. Can we have Rosie back on the view please?

  15. 15

our country is going through the hardest times we have had in years and years and her show is all slapstick and uninviting and who cares about confetti.

  16. 16

Re: iloverickymartin – You like on every post! hahaha… love it!

  17. 17

    Cancel the show already!

  18. 18

Queen Oprah's new station was tanking already. WHY she thought Rosie could help it, when her last attempt at having a show was such a disaster, is beyond ME! In any event, I couldn't care less about either one of them anyway.

  19. 19

I like Rosie, so I don't think she's the problem. The problem is no one knows about this network or what channel it is on. People tend to stick to stations they know and have been watching. It's hard to remember to check out a brand new station. Too bad Rosie couldn't get a show on one of the networks or on Bravo or MSNBC, that people already watch.

  20. 20

Re: L-Mom – I agree. I love Ellen, she does so much for the Gay/Lesbian issue by just being herself. Rosie turns people off with her LOUD ass mouth!!!

  21. 21

We don't like you Rosie. I used to. Then you got really bitchy and cruel and your dark side emerged and took you into a deep hole. We just don't like you and I'm frankly not interested in your "new" show.

  22. 22

Re: FoxyandKanga – She didn't CHOOSE they were the only ones who offered. Every other provider was smarter than Oprah.

  23. 23

I can't watch it b/c my cable company puts OWN in a huge package that is too expensive :-(

  24. 24

I liked her radio show, but this TV attempt stinks. The guests are OK, but she does nothing with them.

  25. 25

I have the Okra Panfry Network BLOCKED on my cable box; my TV can only take so much abuse….

  26. 26

I would watch it but to get OWN channel I have to pay $49.99 per month for the package. Sorry, I can barely afford the $24 per month package I have now. OWN should be part of basic cable, or available online. So sad, the channel is going to fail because we cannot get it without paying more than we can afford.

This new show is horrible and for a fact OWN is not doing as well as Oprah would like you to believe. Why do you think Discovery had a special day of showing Rosie's and oprah's new show in their channel.

  28. 28

I went to her show in Chicago last week. The guest was Carrie Fisher. Now, she was a bore. She needed help to get off the stage. Too me she sounded and still looked whacked out. Rosie was more funny when they broke for commercials. Rosie is very open and honest. They served yummy cupcakes from Sprinkles.

  29. 29

I love Rosie's new show. It is just the first week, and I know it will get better. I would love to see Howard Stern as her guest. That would be rating gold!!!

  30. 30

Re: ChunkiMunkee – The View left Rosie in a bad light to many Americans. I grew to love her again after I listened to her radio show. She is kind hearted and wears her heart on her sleeve. She feels everything, and will sometimes let her emotions guide her. I wish her all the luck and would like to see more episodes of Rosie's show.

  31. 31

I have no idea where OWN network is, would have to call Directv, not sure if it is in my package and cannot afford more money.

  32. 32

I don't know how this is possible. Her show is awesome. She's funny, her guests are great. DVR it everyday. LOVE ROSIE…

  33. 33

I'm usually a big fan of Rosie, but honestly, so far this show really blows. What is it trying to be? She needs to pick a format & run with it. She does have talent, but you can't see it here!

  34. 34

She's got way too much competition with Ellen!! Ellen rules!

  35. 35

I would never watch Rosie in anything. Never have liked her loud mouth and vulgar forms of expression.

  36. 36

of course its going to fail. its rosie o donnell. america has finally seeing how mean she is. oprah showed how out of touch she really is by allowing rosie to have a show on her network. rosie is flat out disturbed.

    39

I would follow Rosie anywhere. I loved her old show and her new one is even better. She has to get in the groove, give her a chance. She will shine like the top of the Chrysler building! Love ya RO!!!

  40. 40

I also don't have the OWN channel either. I just have the basic cable channels- I'm happy with my FX, discovery and TLC. I'm not going to pay for anything else unless it's worth watching. BTW I couldn't get past the first couple of minutes of Rosie's show when it was on Discovery. It seemed to be very boring. The show she had before was better- I don't know why- maybe it could be because she might not have as much creative control in this new show as she did with her other one. I agree with everyone going with OWN is a big mistake. Rosie just doesn't fit with Oprah and Oprah's rules. The show would be way better if she went on major network and she would stick to more of of her original style.

  41. 41

    sadly, it is dreadful

  42. 42

I like my Rosie to be telling it like it is. She's going back to the old Queen of Nice and that may be what she wants but I prefer her on a show like The View where she can tell us what she thinks about things that matter. LOVE Rosie tho… big fan.

  43. 43

It's horrible and not even in HD. I couldn't believe that. I don't like anything that's not in HD plus it's boring. She should have rented that house in Chicago.

  44. 44

I still say from day one,
Moma O set her up to fail
You know Rosie will be back on the Booze big time, and than her nasty mouth will go into gear,

  45. 45

Personally I love the show and I am going to to attend one of the tapings in November and am super excited!! This is where I think the show is going wrong; as much as I personally love OWN, it should have been a basic cable network. Also, Ro should have signed with NBC like she was supposed to before Oprah offered her OWN. Trust me, OWN Is a GREAT network but it is sad because not a lot of people can afford to increase their cable package especially during this economy, Oprah should have known better. I believe the random 6 o'clock time slot as well as the being on OWN are the MAJOR factors in the failing of The Rosie Show, not Ro herself. I am sad by this news but I will continue to watch as long as I can. To the haters, get a life. I love how you spew hatred and ignorance from behind the protection of your computers, lame & sad.

  46. 46

I do not blame Rosie for this…I agree with Foxy, she should have chosen a different network. Nothing on OWN is really worth watching, and that IS NOT Rosies fault!

  47. 47

I think the stage is too dark. I remember her old talk show. The stage was bright and cheery, this one is not.

  48. 48

Who wants to watch ugly Rosie, she is not funny or interesting. There is nothing about her or her show that would make someone want to watch her. I am not sure why she is on television. Oprah needs to find someone else because people generally just do not like Rosie. This is the reason Trump did not have to bad mouth her because he knows she will fail.

  49. 49

It has nothing to do with her being on the OWN network, no one wants to watch Rosie. If it is because of OWN, why is Oprah doing so good with her life lessons. It is because she has something to say that someone wants to listen to. Rosie's time in the limelight has come and gone thanks to her and her bad attitude. Rosie who? is what most people are saying.

  50. 50

she is a dyke ans disgusting

  51. 51

The show has a lot of similar aspects to the successful daytime show she had in the 90's, but there's just something "off" with the new show, it's like the segments arent flowing together, that well. The producer needs to take a different approach, the show needs higher profile guests and ofcourse a little controversy never hurts nowadays… Hope she can turn it around before it gets the ax..
