Calling her "Her Royal Highness" is demoting her. She is always "Her/Your Majesty". You NEVER call a King or Queen "His/Her Royal Highness" IF they are the reigning Monarch. If the reigning Monarch is a Man/King, then he can automatically makes his Queen "her Majesty". But a Reigning Queen cannot make her husband a King. Kinda sexist, but thats the way its been forever. (However, William & Catherine appear to be changing the rules. Giving the power to their first born not matter if its a boy or a girl. Should they have a girl and then a boy, the girl would be queen before the boy would be King. Fianlly! Lets hope they have a girl first now!) BUT…..currently, The reigning King or Queen ALWAYS get called "YOUR MAJESTY". And then sir or maam there after. 'His/Her Royal Highness' would only be used for the Husband of a Queen, or Princes and Princesses. And sometimes Dukes and Earls and such.

Jackman is about the only "star" these days that has the class to pull off a photo-op with the Queen. Most of them look like giddy kids or stoners.
Is that Tom Hooper beside Jackman? He who will be directing Jackman in Les Miz next year?
