Carrie Underwood Details Her Face & Wrist Injury In First Interview Since Accident -- WATCH
Carrie Underwood is getting back in action.
In her first interview since her freak accident, the 35-year-old songbird went on the Bobby Bones Show to discuss her return to music. If you don't remember, she broke her wrist and needed over 40 facial stitches following a dangerous tumble in front of her Nashville home in November.

To us, it seemed like the Cry Pretty singer still felt a little uncomfortable discussing her fall and scars (understandably), but she did give some insight into what happened:

Umm, she's a singer - not a brain surgeon. She pretty much has to sing 4 or 5 days a week for 1.5 or 2 hours a night and everything else is done for her (assistants, rodies, managers, etc etc). Quit complaining - most people have real jobs that actually involve work and raising families.
Does she think 45 is terrible? I'm 45 and I run 10 miles every other days, and feel better than when I was in my 20's and exhausted by my small children.
I am sure it is a crazy life with a lot of pressure. Glad you hung in there Kelly. She has the best voice in music. I hope she continues to share those amazing killer pipes with her fans for many many more years to come. I am 48 and I feel tired!
I hear ya Kelly. I feel pretty old. Keep singing for your fans please!!!
She looks like a fat-ass again.
Wait, she's not 45??? damn old fat lesbian
Re: 7tizz – It could seem lilke a couple of hours on the surface, but all of the travel, airports, driving, checking in, checking out, finding meals, getting ready, soundchecks, wardrobe, makeup, airportsand meetings add up to months and months of very, very long days. The time on stage is the tip of the iceberg. Add if you're writing or recording in between, and you can forget about friends, family or a day off. Everything is scheduled for you. The money? You hope you'll get to enjoy it someday.
Re: @v@ – Trust me, I am well aware what they have to go through. Most of what you mentioned though is done by other people. Touring is hard work, on everyone else but the star…they live a very pampered life. I have more respect for the 9 to 5ers - they do thier thing for the rest of their lives - she can take six months to a year off once in a while whereas normal people can't.
Re: 7tizz – I hear you. The one thing about the road that others can't take care of (and neither can the entertainer) is the ability to balance your personal life, and that vacuum can suck the life out of an entertainer just as much as work overload.
Each person is dealing with unknown stuff but is on the gopher wheel and can't easily get off to tend to it.
OH PLEASE, CLARKSON EATS 5000 CALORIES A DAY. LOOK AT HER NOW SINCE HER WEIGHT (YEARS AGO), SHE WEIGHS A TON!! SHE GAINED ALL HER 50 LBS BACK. NO WONDER SHE'S A TIRED TRAIN WRECK MESS!!!
Re: 7tizz –
I hate it when people say this… while she may have a ton of people doing the work for her, she is still the dealing with it all and she pays for it in other ways… such as negativity from people, the press and not to mention that at the end of the day if her album doesn't sell and she loses her fame, well she could lose a lot… while I see what you're saying, I think there is a balance in everything and it's a little unfair that because her job isn't a 9 to 5 (in fact most days it's probably longer) and she doesn't have children to raise (which by the way i hate it when people say this because if you didn't want to deal with the exhaustion of children then you shouldn't have reproduced and you in no way deserve a break if you did, get over it) does not mean she couldn't have been tired or overworked. You don't even know her, how you could possibly have any idea what her life is like.
Re: 7tizz – definetly, yeah its long days but its not all that hard work and they get to live the life. the problem is they are so spoiled and their egos get so out of control they start really believing their lives are hard
