Val Kilmer Must Need Some Cash! Sells Property In New Mexico At Drastically Reduced Price!

val kilmer sells property for reduced price

The best Batman ever is in desperate need of money? Say it ain't so!

Way back in December, we reported that Val Kilmer owed the IRS almost $500,000 in unpaid federal taxes, after he had just settled ANOTHER debt a few months prior.

Guess Val's money problems continue, because he just sold the majority of his ranch in New Mexico for $18.5 million, EVEN THOUGH he originally put it up for $33 million.

That's a major price cut, Val! You must have really needed some $$$!!!!!

Hope everything is all right…

He used to be so hot. Too bad. The bulbous nose kinda explains it all.

Ummm he sold it at nearly half price cuz he kept a lot of the property. I think like 100 + acres… I live in Alamo, NM and my family has a ranch near the Pecos River In Santa Fe and they know Val! Thank you

His financial woes are none of our business, and you obviously aren't reporting the entire story anyway. Get a life.

When you assume you make an a** out of you and me. Val Kilmer is a nice guy, leave him alone.

Considering that most property prices are initially inflated, and that he allegedly kept a parcel of land for himself, 18.5 million is nothing to sneeze at. He's a great guy from all accounts, and looks sexy as heck here. : )

Someone's finances are a private matter.

News flash - EVERYBODY is selling real estate at drastically reduced prices. Broke or not, the economy has slammed property values in a lot of NM.

Maybe Obama can give him some tax money…things are tough.

Hes just looking to get out of there. Like Nick Cage, every actor is their own power broker based on their enourmous salaries. They are ALL real estate investors. We have 10 YEARS before we will see prices begin to climb again (and thats 'if') so they are selling off now even at a loss, using their celebrity as publicity, because they KNOW….in 3-5 years they will be able to buy whatever they want for pennines on the dollar, especially with G-O-L-D. The western United States will not be a safe place to live during the coming depression. I would recommend buying a horse and an semi-automatic machine gun!

Where do you people get your information from. He's lomg had a terrible reputation for appalling behaviour on set, that's why he slipped from to placings/ In the words of Joel Schumacher:"He was rude and inappropriate. He was childish and impossible. I was forced to tell him that this would not be tolerated for one more second. Then we had two weeks where he did not speak to me - but it was bliss." The normally gentile Schumacher later told Premiere magazine, "Val is the most psychologically troubled human being I've ever worked with. The tools I used to work with him - tools of communication, of patience and understanding - were the tools I use on my five-year-old godson."
    He's not nice.

Sorry, Michael Keaton was the best Batman.

This guy is a pompous ass. My mom saw him once while working as a sample person in a grocery store, asked him, "aren't you" he stopped her mid sentence and said, "yes, yes I am" and walked right by her. My mom could careless he was an actor, just thought she recognized him.

The government should step in and help him. It's not right that he had to lower the amount of money he would accept.

  15. 15

Wish him well. Hope all the others in Hollywood needing money turn out the same.
    Good luck Val.

Although he has morphed into the male version of Barbra Streisand, I still enjoy his presence on screen. He's arrogant, but his quick comments are still quite amusing. He's quite smart, and very funny.

Re: sirmartinfrobisherRe: Dragonfly64 – I'm not shocked by any of your statements, he does not come across as a sympathetic and levelheaded person. It's a shame as he is indeed talented, funny and quick, but I would be lying if I said that I would enjoy his company. I'm not sure anyone does.

I believe in you Val. You can still lose weight and regain your former hotness! I want you to go on Dancing With the Stars.
