Anne Hathaway Les Miserables Fantine Line Quote Les Mis

Yeeeeaaaahhhh, b*tches! It's confirmed!

Anne Hathaway just signed that paper committing herself to act in the Universal Pictures adaptation of Les Miserables.

Whoo! It was already good with eye candy like Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe, but now it's just gonna be fun!

Annie will play Fantine. Perrr-fEct!

And, as expected, Universal will be releasing the film right in time for top shelf Oscar buzz — December 7, 2012.

Can she sing? Can Russel Crowe?

  2. 2

NOT happy. Can she sing? Hell she can't even act. Bad choice. This is going to go downhill from here.

BOOOO!!! I agree with Kyle73, this movie is REALLY going DOWNhill!!! Didn't anyone see her crap at the Oscar's.

  4. 4

plz gawd don't make me see her boobs again!

  5. 5

I'm sorry but she is not pretty and she is only famous because she shows her boobs in ever film and is jewish. I am so over her. she was cute in the Princess Diaries but she has really been priveledged to do movies she shouldn't have

Victor Hugo is not just rolling, but spinning rapidly in his grave. As of late they have been shitting all over this work of art. From Nick Jonas, to Justin Bieber, now this movie adaption? Wasn't the first one bad enough? Now we have to fill it with celebrity and most definitely tune the hell out of the vocals.

    This is fucking tragic.

I wish Perez would stop posting his opinions regarding Les Mis, as he clearly knows nothing about it, and news that would otherwise devastate actual fans of the book and musical, have him tickled pink in his own wallowing ignorance.

WTF. I cannot fathom why this girl is still getting cast in things?? She's really ugly. She has a nice figure, and that's about it. She is just going to be one more nail in the coffin of this movie. It's like everyone sat down and decided to ruin a classic.

this is a really poor casting choice. they better do the play justice with this film

  9. 9

Well I won't be seeing it now.

Aaaaaand…this is me officially NOT seeing this movie.

Seriously, as someone who grew up doing musical theater and LOVES Les Mis, this is borderline sacrilegious. Anne is a loud, bawdy, BAD actress who, by the way, is annoying as hell. (Just my opnion, but seriously…all you have to do is watch her movies to come to the same conclusion.) She is so wrong for this part, I cannot fathom what the casting directors were thinking. (Same thing with the new Batman movie, pretty sure she will ruin that too.) Why does she keep getting such great parts??! I honestly do NOT understand it. I keep wondering A.) who she is sleeping with?, or B.) if I am just not seeing the same movie as everybody else?

Holy Cow! Did everyone wake up jealous, vicious, angry and bitter? Hathaway has a beautiful voice and with Hooper bringing out the best in Jackman, Crowe, and Hathaway plus the glorious music of Les Miserables, they might as well just start tossing the Oscars in its direction now. It will be a wonderful movie with a built in audience that has been waiting for the movie version for the last 25 years

I love the book. Why are they ruining it?! HATHAWAY?! Really? FU Hollywood.
