The Case Against Tyler Clementi's Roommate Continues.

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooGay Gay GayLegal MattersSad SadLGBT

We hardly see how this is relevant to the matter at hand, but whatevs!

As the case against 19-year-old Dharun Ravi, who is accused with crimes including bias intimidation for his role in the suicide of Tyler Clementi, continues, his lawyer, Steven Altman, is requesting that prosecutors hand over a hand-written note from the victim, as well as files from his computer, that could show his state of mind and help his roommate get off the hook!

Obviously, the prosecutors have argued that this information isn't relevant, and Judge Glenn Berman is now reviewing it in his chambers, with a ruling expected on Thursday.

Regardless of this poor kid's mental state, the fact of the matter is this young man still terrorized him by violating his privacy and airing it on the internet. He needs to be held accountable for these cruel and inappropriate actions.

May Tyler R.I.P.

you, who has terrorized young girls for years should be ashamed to write stuff of this nature. You don't realize you are much more of a bully than this kid is? What he did might have been wrong, but nobody is perfect, least of all youth. Give it a break, Perez. You are far from perfect and the sooner people realize you have not changed, you just put a spin on your words the better.

If we use your logic, you'd already be in jail serving a life sentence 1. for abusing girls and 2. for leering at underage boys. Sick fuck.

    OBVIOUSLY he has mental problems,
Anyone who terrorizes another person in any way has to have some kind of mental problem.
DOESN"T matter, he caused damaged to another person there for consequences should be in order….
Crazy or not, he needs a major ass kicking and then a shrink….
So sick of people using MENTAL problems as an excuse for they're SICK behavior….
If someone was not diagnosed with a mental problem and was perfectly fine up until the point of they're bad behavior the only people with a mental problem is the one's that believe they're BULLSHIT…..

If only the wheels of justice could work this well on other cases …

No one can "force" someone to commit suicide. Tyler and all the other gay suicides were mentally disturbed and you can't accuse someone else of causing their death when they took their own lives. Period. Everyone wants a scapegoat when a tragedy happens. His roommate should be held accountable for violating his privacy and causing mental anguish… but murder? Cmon folks.

this poor kid needed counciling before he took his own life. unfortunately its not politically correct to offer guidance for gay teens.

    Re: RAY2RAY

You misunderstand. They want to find out the mental state of the boy who killed himself prior to this incident. They want to prove this would have happened regardless of the roommate posting the video on the internet.

Taping your roommate having sex is wrong no matter what your sexual orientation. Do I think its a hate crime? No! I think anytime you look at someone who is gay the wrong way its being taken as a hate crime. Its ridiculous. This kid did something wrong but stop making it seem like it was a hate crime because it wasn't. Some people just don't like the thought of sex of any kind.

First off, I'm gay. So now that that's out of the way, I'll say I feel bad for this poor kid. It was a personal, private moment, where he wasn't hurting anyone. If it was anyone, straight, gay, doesn't matter. It shouldn't have happened. Especially at that age, when every little thing that happens to you is embarrassing. In your 30's it's easier to just say "whatever" if something like that happens. At the same time, yah, people don't just kill themselves over one embarrassing incident. There was more going on in that kids mind than just this one incident. All angles of the situation need to be examined. But geez, poor kid. RIP. Wouldn't it be awesome if people would just treat each other with respect and decency? Why do we have to go through life constantly trying to destroy each other? It's such a waste of time and energy, and in this case an innocent life. That kid had a family who loved him and their pain must be awful.
