How cool … but also, kind of ironic?
Not only do the protestors of the Occupy Wall Street movement get to stand up in what they believe in — but they might actually get to be a part of the highly anticipated final chapter of Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises!!
Here's the rumor:
Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises will be shooting in New York City for 14 days, and an unnamed source says “cast members have been told the shoot could include scenes shot at the Occupy Wall Street protests.” While the real-world events occurring at the shooting locations won’t change the narrative of the film, Nolan could “be using the protests as a backdrop or a stand-in for something that already exists in the film.”
That'd be so awesome, and would give the movie a neat added sense of realism.
Plus if the protestors take a break to see the film (who knows how long they'll be there!) they could potentially see themselves!
Cool … but should they be concerned that their cause is ignoring the corporation and financial greed found in Hollywood as well? Or maybe they'll let the crew have it if they get filmed. This could go either way!
Let us know if U see the DKR crew!
