Only in this town! LOLz!
An anonymous actress has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the Internet Movie Database for a whopping $1 million - all because the website revealed that she is approaching 40!
According to legal documents, filed in Seattle federal court under "Jane Doe," the actress subscribed to the site's pay service, IMDbPro, in 2008, which automatically listed her legal birth date to her page!
The suit reads:
“In the entertainment industry, youth is king. If one is perceived to be ‘over-the-hill,’ i.e. approaching 40, it is nearly impossible for an up-and-coming actress, such as the plaintiff, to get work. Shortly after subscribing to IMDbPro, plaintiff noticed that her legal date of birth had been added to her public profile … revealing to the public that the plaintiff is many years older than she looks.”
The only information we have on this mystery lady is that she currently lives in Texas.
Wonder who it is! Any guesses??
