Quote Of The Day

"Don't you think that music now shouldn't fall into a particular box? I don't think anyone thinks like that anymore. You don't see many goths, hippies, rockers and hip hoppers anymore. People like Kanye [West] are changing the way we all listen and the Internet."

What is he talking about? I see rockers, hip hoppers, hippie people everyday on the subway. Songs may have other influence, but these categories still exist.

After seeing the first single titled "every teardrop is a waterfall" I feared my approval of Coldplay was beginning to fade. Now praises for Kanye? Why would anyone sing praises to that no talent pos? Kanye and Perez are my two most hated on this planet.

lol he thinks that because the ones listening to his music are generic "i love everything in the top 40 oh and the beatles of course" types.

    most hated =/= less talent

I don't see anything wrong with being an audiophile, I prefer that than the people who say their preferred genre is -real- music and insert-other-genre-here is not real music

Oh , my interpretation was that you wouldn't find someone listening to only hip hop, or pop or rock. Nowadays everyone's open minded to all kinds of music and are listening to what sounds good. Artists are even mixting all types of music together. That's what I got from his quote. Oh by the way, Chris Martin, I would love to screw you please.
