New From Cher Lloyd!

| Filed under: Music MinuteX FactorCher Lloyd

This is absolutely GORGEOUS!

We LOVE hearing this side to her!

Check out the just-released, studio version of Cher Lloyd's astonishing cover of Stay by Shakespear's Sister, which she originally performed on the fourth week of the X Factor competition her season (above)!

Apparently, this is available only to those who pre-order her debut album, Sticks + Stones, off her official site!

With the quality of this track, we doubt you'll have problems selling copies, gurl!

Well done!

P.S. - Who put this screengrab for the video? Ha!

its actually already been on youtube for months, so you can use a youtube converter to download it :)

I actually liked this cover! If she didnt do cheesy songs like swagger jagger, she would have potential. She can rap but what she has released is crappy comercial music. I liked her on Xfactor.

This sucks. It doesn't even begin to compare to the haunting original by Shakespeare Sister. Another corporate pop bimbo mutilating an already classic song.

mm I think I liked the original on xfactor better oddly enough! She really belted it out and managed to infuse the song with alot of emotion. Plus I find the background music, minus the piano, annoying

This is one of my all time favorite songs and she does a fabulous job mainstreaming it! There are a lot of people that would never hear it and this will speak to a younger crowd.

I loved the original and I'm usually quite sceptical about it being covered, but her version is just fantastic. Love this one!
