Mena Suvari Keeping Busy! Lands A Role On American Horror Story
Wow! Is it like a rule a that Mena Suvari must be cast in EVERYTHING with the word "American" in the title???
Last we heard from the American Pie/American Virgin/American Beauty star, she had landed a role in American Reunion, and was getting a pret-ty decent paycheck for it!
Now, we're hearing that Mena has gotten another gig: as The Black Dahlia on American Horror Story!
For those of you who didn't see the Brian De Palma movie, Dahlia/Elizabeth Short was a "high-profile murder victim whose 1947 unsolved killing was the subject of myriad books and movie adaptations."
Sounds like a fun episode, but we're even MORE excited to see Zachary Quinto as a gay ghost next week! He can haunt us ANY time! LOLz.

I just watched all 3 of the first episodes last night. Rare you get a great show so quickly. Its a cross between the movie 'Se7en', 'Amityville of Horror', 'Salem's Lot/Evil Dead', and 'Sixth Sense'. Jessica Lange - just an example of an AMAZING actress. I rarely see good acting anymore and she is above the frey. McDermott is great as well and Connie Britton is good. Really creepy show that I am surprised is not on Cable television, due to some graphic scenes and topics.

FX Is A Basic Cable Network Lol, Do You Only Watch Network Shows Or Somethin? They Have Been Showing Graphic Content Including Nudity On Channels Such As FX, AMC & Others

Re: caravaggio the terrible – I totally agree!!! I haven't been this excited and happy about a series in years. I love this show!!! It is soooo cool!!! It is scary, clever, sexy and full of twists and turns and horny horny ghosts!!!
If you feel compelled to label and say Quinto is playing a "gay ghost," why dont you equally write that Mena is playing a "straight high profile murder victim"? Quinto may not be a great actor, but he deserves better than that.
Re: iloverickymartin – Yes horny ghosts and some good acting. The maid who changes her age creeps me out. It has that 'natural born killers' feel too in its extremes. I sense occult symbolism as well (see the pic above).
I loved her on the season finale of "Psych" last season. Can't wait for her psychotic character to make a second appearance!
