Shenae Grimes Directs Inspirational Anti-Bullying Music Video For Megan And Liz!

| Filed under: Music MinuteInspiration90210Shenae GrimesMegan and Liz

Such a pretty song!

With such a powerful music video! Really - it's wonderful!

The lovely Shenae Grimes, with whom we were DELIGHTED to film a scene on her series, 90210, recently had the opportunity to write a treatment for, style and direct Megan and Liz's anti-bullying themed song, Are You Happy Now?

Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

She tells us EXCLUSIVELY:

"Our experience together on-set was a source of inspiration for the message me and the girls tried to convey with this video so thank you for that. We teamed up with Do Something's Step Up To Bullying campaign and Teen.com for our launch and the response has been incredibly moving so far….please feel free to share the link or encourage people to check out teen.com or dosomgething.org to find out how they can #stepuptobullying themselves!"

We couldn't be happier to pass these sentiments along, and commend you for taking such a pro-active stance in the fight against bullying and hate!

Well done, girls!

P.S. We'll come back on 90210 ANY TIME! Ha!

Fucking GAY! And another of you "Exclusives"…..GAY!

This is so stupid, and so painfully teeeny weeeny. Get over yourselves, people get picked on and bullied. It's just part of life.

  3. 3

Is this the same Shenae Grimes that you've bashed on this site several times before?
From Bashing to being Delighted with her …. That's precious

it's funny how before you disliked shenae, but now that you've been on 90210 you suddenly "love" her. convenient.

Wow….that was really bad. Totally think Bullying is horrible. But this video was corny as hell.

  6. 6

I happen to think these girls are extremely tallented!

  7. 7

Sorry, but the happily ever after that they had in this anti-bullying vid is very unrealistic and cheesy (almost insulting too because life doesn't work like that) :/

Too all of you saying this is stupid. SHUT THE HELL UP. first of all, yes we all know that bullying happens all the time and its just "a part of life" it still doesn't mean its right. i mean, people murder people all the time, but does that make it okay? i don't think so. and for people saying this is cheesy or the storyline is unrealistic…ITS A FREAKIN MUSIC VIDEO. its not a documentary. i mean, I've been waiting for Aliens to come down from outer space based on Katy Perry's "E.T." video, but I doubt that's gonna happen. and i believe they're trying to say that if you ever were a bully,or were ever bullied, this is how it SHOULD end up, instead of WOULD end up.
so for all of you and your nasty comments BULLYING two 18 year old girls, GET A LIFE AND SHUT UP. :)

Good cause. Cute girls. Hollywood Celebrity. Everything it takes…except talent. This is so contrived and the music is just awful.

These girls should go back to the high school talent show. They might get 3rd place.

Wow, aren't you people so cool. Way to bully and bash on Megan and Liz, I bet you feel so great about yourselves. About the article, I thought it was a great article and Megan and Liz are great, thank you for this!

Love Megan & Liz! They're both sweet girls and have worked so hard to get to where they are. It's sad that all these people feel the need to bully them online, but since they're targeting TEENS, it definitely works. Stop being a part of the problem and try and prevent another teenager from taking their own life, we've lost too many lives over bullies.
