The day that Steve Jobs passed was a sad day for a lot of the world. People didn't really have a perfect outlet for their grief and thanks for such an important part of the modern world.

So Apple set up an email — RememberingSteve@apple.com — and let the community know that if they wanted to pay their respects, they could do so there. We showed you that yesterday. And now, they're proudly displaying over a million messages from all over the world.

It says at the top:

"Over a million people from all over the world have shared their memories, thoughts, and feelings about Steve. One thing they all have in common — from personal friends to colleagues to owners of Apple products — is how they’ve been touched by his passion and creativity. You can view some of these messages below."

You can see the page here.

We hope that you'll leave your thoughts with so many other wonderful people.

Thanks for all that you did, Steve. We miss you!
