Maybe Summit realized their mistake in hiring her. She's an over rated actress who was not right for the part. I HAVE heard of the movie. Me and my friend have already made plans to see it. As for Twilight, just because it will be coming out next month, doesn't mean they stop promoting their other movies. 50/50 was Summit and that heavily promoted. Several Summit movies are promoted despite the Twilight franchise. She's just pissed that not that many people want to see this movie.

They're probably not promoting it because the critics tore it apart. It's rubbish and they know it.

i'm sick of seeing commercials for this movie…so it's been promoted

  4. 4

How can you say you haven't heard about it, perez YOU have been talking about it, posting posters for the movie as posts. Anything to jump on the bandwagon.

No one cares about The Three Musketeers. I don't know how this was greenlit in the first place. Anyone with a brain can tell this will bomb. It was too soon to make a remake after one came out like ten years ago anyway.

I've heard about it, I saw the promos and rolled my eyes because I thought it looked like crap. It sounds like she knows it's crap so she's setting up an excuse before it bombs.

The Three Musketeers is a great family movie! I'm going to see it for the second time today. If you liked Stardust, you'll love Musketeers. It's completely not what you expect at first. It doesn't have much to do with the book, but it doesn't matter. And Mila is great in it, btw.

I havent seen Orlando Bloom in a movie in FOREVER! So that's why im going to see it! :)

    she is right

  10. 10

She's right. I've only seen a few commericals and had no idea it was a family film.

Perez you've posted atleast 5 posts promoting the film in the past few months, I've even posted 2 comments on this article with the links but whoever monitors the site doesn't want you to look bad, as they haven't posted them with the other comments. I know it takes a while for comments to be seen on here, but it's been HOURS so don't say that's why they're not showing yet.

So for someone who apparently hasn't heard much about the film, you have had alot to say about it.

Um, they've been promoting it honey the commercials have reached the "won't go away" point. I can't wait to see her in it though, she's brilliant!

We saw it in Europe a week or two ago, where it was well received. Here, the critics didnt like it, but its fun for kids. Its not the true Dumas story. Theyve jazzed it up for todays audience. Milla and Matthew MacFayden were quite good.

I'm kind of doubting that Summit is wiling to lose $80 million just because they are busy promoting Twilight. Let's face Twilight doesn't actually need the promotion, they have a built in audience.
I'm guessing that for those of us who have seen the 1993 version or are fans of the book the commercials are a bit of a turn off. It's like literature by MTV.
Having seen the film it is quite fun even though it is a reinterpretation and does not follow the book.
I'm not sure about other parts of the country, but here in LA there seems to be quite a bit of promotion. I've seen more commercials for it than Twilight, but people have to remember that rabid teens that are in love with Rob are doing more of the promotion work for Twilight than Summit is. And while Orlando Boom is quite attractive he is no longer the young hottie that starred in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies that are going to make teen girls coming running to see the movie over and over again. Nor has Logan Lehrman established enough teenage heartthrob cred to bring in the vapid masses either.
I'm wondering if Milla has a back end deal that she only gets if the movie makes a certain amount of money and is now pissed because it's not doing as well as she'd hoped.
After all the Resident Evil movies are nowhere near as well publicized and she's never complained before.

Saw the movie. Milla should keep quiet about this and hopefully her career will survive. What a piece of crap movie.

I could barely read that tweet because of all the abbreviations in it.

I've worked with her on set before… Not only is she not nice or down to earth, she's a diva, inconsiderate, and thinks too highly of herself.

  18. 18

I've seen several commercials in theaters for it, does not appeal so will not see it, there have been much better versions of this movie done. But it may appeal to some younger viewers.

  19. 19

    I agree with her!

Why does Hollywood keep remaking movies? How many times can they remake the Three Muskateers? Jeez…
