Lots of rumors flying around, so we thought we might clear the air for you.
When One Tree Hill stared
27 9 years ago, the show was about two estranged half-brothers, both struggling with their identities and their relationships with the people in their lives, including their own. However, in the show's ninth and final season, neither James Lafferty or Chad Michael Murray have much to do with the on-screen action. Chad hasn't been on the show for over two years and James shot all of his scenes during a four-week block in the summer, agreeing to only star in about seven episodes total.
However, as the end of the road is quickly approaching for the show, can fans expect to see the Scott boys back in the finale? Well, to tell the truth … its' already been set in stone that James will return for the end of OTH. In fact, he's all set to be back in North Carolina for filming in November.
Chad, on the other hand, is another story. He's already set to come back in the show's ninth episode for a cameo, but there hasn't been any talk beyond that. An inside source from the show does say that "it's still a possibility, though a slim one."
It would be a shame for him not to see the show out on it's final run. It was a big part of his career and he owes the people who got him started that much.
Did you hear that, Hilarie Burton? We said something about loyalty to the show that got you started! Anything you want to say about that?
