New Kelsey Grammer Show Gets Good Ratings…But Not Great

| Filed under: TV NewsBusiness BlitzKelsey Grammer

kelsey grammer new show ratings are good not great

Hopefully these numbers don't drop, ESPECIALLY since Starz has already committed themselves to a second season

Last month, Starz made the bold move of granting Kelsey Grammer's new show Boss a second season EVEN before the show premiered.

Now, the ratings are in, and Boss debuted with a total of 1.7 million viewers for its multiple airings over the weekend.

Not bad, but definitely a step down from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, which debuted to 2.8 million viewers, and even Torchwood: Miracle Day, which landed 2 million viewers for its opening weekend.

As long as the ratings don't go down, these numbers could warrant a second season…but if they go down a lot, those Starz execs might start regretting inflating Kelsey's ego by giving him two seasons upfront!

Did U see Kelsey's new show? Do U think the ratings will go up? Down? Stay the same???

    It's such a good show.

Um Perez, it is because the show is on Starz. You have to pay extra for Starz and most of us who pay for Cable, Satelite Tv, get HBO or Showtime and their packages. Starz is not included in them.

I really thought it was a good show… it was Kelsey Grammar like I've never seen him before… his acting was superb… I'm glad to hear it's on for at least two seasons. I admit, I was shocked when he grabbed the man by the ear while yelling at him… I couldn't believe it.. the husb said I'm just naive, that some of these higher-ups actually act that way! Wowzers.
