If it's anything like Hard Candy, then NO THANK YOU, MA'AM!

  2. 2

So excited she's working with William Orbit again…not only was Ray of Light Madonna's greatest work but it's also one of the greatest pop albums of all time. From what it sounds like the music will be alt/ambient dance which will work perfectly with Orbit producing and MIA on the lead single. Those worried about Nicki Minaj and Hard Candy part II shouldn't be, I predict Madge will have her doing something like she did on the David Guetta track Turn Me On. The problem with Hard Candy was that it felt like a Timbland/Timberlake album instead of Madonna setting the bar and starting a new trend (first time EVER I felt like she followed others). I have a feeling she still wants dance music but dance music with more substance and deeper lyrics. Confessions of a Dancefloor was an incredible dance record but I want Ray of Light Madonna…Ray of Light, Frozen, Power of Goodbye, Nothing Really Matters, Drowned World…some of the greatest songs of her entire career….imagine Britney, Katy or one of the others pop-tarts of today trying to song one of the songs convincingly.

Those cheekbone implants are painful to even look at. They distort her real look. Never was a fan of the old ho…

  4. 4

I CANNOT wait!!! New album and new tour in 2012 by the most successful female artist of all time in the whole world!!!!!!!!!

  5. 5

She has to recover from the "insert Madonna into prerecorded music" quality of HARD CANDY.

  6. 6

I have a feeling she learned from the mistakes of that Hard Candy mishap and is going 4 the musical jugular with this one.

  7. 7

Madonna ran out of tricks after unsuccessful attempts (last 2 albums) so I guess she needs to rehire the folks from the 90s. Her last number 1 in the US was Music…that was EONS ago.

  8. 8

I have a love and hate relation with Madonna. I love her as an artist. She's a fucking genius, no matter how Britney or Lady Gaga's fans try to understimate her. She's not a pop singer, she's the Queen of Rock And Roll. If you start listening to all her discography, tours, etc you can't deny it. She's from other world. But as a person she kind of piss me. Let's get real, she's not a good person. She's mean, selfish, rude and greedy. So that's all. She's great but don't flatter her too much. She becomes a bitch in that way.

Her only flops in the last 10 years have been American Life and Hard Candy..one for political reasons, and the other for its producers. Confessions and Music both were received with positive reviews and sold millions worldwide, landing hit singles across the world, and breaking records. She said this new upcoming album will be dance music, so I'm assuming it'll be a Ray of Light meets Confessions..with a hint of what's to come in the future.

Re: kirknyc24 – WTF? Last TWO albums? Okay Hard Candy was pure shit. We all know that. Although the S&S Tour was one of her best work. But Confessions On A Dance Floor was a huge hit in all world. I'm not really sure if was in USA, but in the rest of the world was on the top. It's not like Ray Of Light, Erotica or Like A Prayer, but it was good and original.

  11. 11

Ray of Light definitely is not one of the greatest pop albums of all time and I highly doubt this new album will reach far beyond her gay fan base. There's nothing wrong with homosexuality, but this woman capitalises on them.

  12. 12

    I'm just dyinggggggggg

  13. 13

Re: Argentinian – Madonna is NOT the queen of rock n' roll !!! Where the fuck did you get that?! She is the queen of pop, without a doubt bur rock n' roll and Madonna have nothing to do with each other…apples and oranges.

  14. 14

    Re: jp1988
Uh..no, no Ray of Light, Part 2! I don't know what it is about people and that album. They act like it's the Holy Grail of Madonna albums. I hated it when it first came out, and still find it hard to enjoy today. I found it to be cold and mechanical, and that's the time when she started getting into all that Kabbalah shit. But it did win her her first proper Grammy, so I guess it has some redeeming value. My personal favorite is Erotica, which surprisingly a lot of her fans don't like (it was her worst selling album at one point). Confessions and her debut are pretty good, too. The rest of her albums are hit or miss with me.

  15. 15

30 years at no1!!! Only Madonna! 30 years of great music and amazing tours!

  16. 16

What an Evil Witch; her brother is on the streets, she LOATHES certain flowers, she pimps out her daughter & wears her daughter's clothes, she can't stay married, she buys foreign babies, and she's still rolling on stages…

  17. 17

crap, i just threw up in my mouth

  18. 18

Lol. look at all the people attacking her on her personal life. Ugh. >_>
Confessions was a hit album…go do some research on it. Her last tour is the greatest and highest grossing tour by a single act/solo artist. Check yourselves before attacking.
As for those of you who can't understand why Ray of Light is perhaps her greatest album, go read the reviews, the list of awards, the numbers count, just as much as the influence on all aspects of musical art during the late 90's..AKA raves, techno, house and ambient music. She brought that to light, to the mainstream world. Now, some of you may credit other artists, but even then, she was solely the one artist who had enough potential to open people's eyes and ears and expose them to such music. Go back in time and do some research, it's all in the History books.

I liked her music when she sang Vogue, Secret, that music song was alright. Must admit as a singer she knew what she was doing, but have no respect for her as a person either she is a mother and a role model she shouldn't date guys 20 years younger then her age it sends the wrong message to her daughter.
Once in an interview Madonna said that she doesn't let her children watch tv or read magazines, really that's not fair to the kids at all, just because through watching tv and reading magazines they can find out about their mum's sex life that doesn't mean that she should take all the fun away from them.

  20. 20

Re: Argentinian – original? when she sampled songs from BeeGees, Donna Summer, ABBA, etc…her last good album was Ray of Light….period. US Radio stations no longer play new Madonna songs.

  21. 21

Can't wait for her new tour!! All of her tours are sooo amazing! I cannot even compare them to other concerts by other artists. Not even close! No wonder why she is the most successful female artist of all time. 2012 is gonna be fun!! New album, New tour! I became a huge fan in 2006 when I bought Confessions on a Dancefloor and the Confessions Tour! EPIC!

  22. 22

um why is this in the twilight archive?

  23. 23

Thank God she's coming out with a new album. I like Lady GaGa but Madonna's music is soooo much better. Ray of Light was amazing and if this is half as good, she's got a hit. Can't wait. Love her so much! I so want to see her live in Vegas. She should kick Celine what's her name out of there and take over. Make it her town! Also, for what it's worth, I'd give my eye-teeth to see her and Prince play together. Weird, I know, but it would SO rock!

  24. 24

Whatever… They say that about EVERY album she does. Ohhhh THIS will be the best EVER… what else are they going to say? That's how they make their money.

  25. 25

Mikel whatevsss she also charged ridiculously high prices for her tickets so her fans can miss paying rent so naturally she will "make more".

  26. 26

    You are my QUEEN, Madonna!!!

  27. 27

    She's still very beautiful!

    28

Glad it's not being uber-over hyped yet like another artist. Let the music do the talking.

  29. 29

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! OMG Cannot wait.

  30. 30

Re: www.someonehad2.com – you said it best! thats the problem with HC, although there was a couple of Madonna sounding trACKS. I did like miles away, give it 2 me and voices. but still not her best. This isn't the 1st time she had a "failed" album. they consider Erotica & AM a failure and she followed those with great albums. we;ll see this time she needs to bring it and prove she can be ahead of everyone again.

  31. 31

    Re: MikelJoshua
You're entitled to your opinion of whoever, but that's a bunch of bullshit if you think Madonna brought techno, rave, and ambient music to the light, unless your idea of mainstream is a bunch of soccer moms in suburban Illinois, and for those of old enough to remember that time clearly, it's kind of insulting. I don't know what history book you're reading, but it's obviously filled with a bunch of misinformation.

Re: Hussyy – She looks great with a little curvy and rounding weight. Fills out the hollows and the wrinkles. Her arms look good now, too.
