I dont get it why, the song is okey but not that good. So many good songs and they never reach NO.1

  2. 2

RI RI IS A wHORE wHORE !

  3. 3

Really?? She says the same damn thing over and over and over again!!

  4. 4

Has she even had a number 1 album???

  5. 5

This is just proof that music ain't what it used to be, she now ranks with Madonna, The Supremes, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Mariah and the Beatles?! Fuck that, her music is complete shit and this bitch has no talent.

    Barf.

The Amazing Calvin Harris WROTE and Produced this song. I'll give Rihanna credit on the amazing vocals!

  8. 8

I like the song, it'd be good for a club or something. However, I don't think it's good enough to be #1

  9. 9

Do it to it Rihanna!!! i was ehhh about the song at first but it grew on me so much i swear i listen to it every morning to get energy lol it's #1 worthy

F*CK ALL HATERS! That said, she deserved this #1 and this song will definitely continue to slay in the United States and worldwide! Can't wait for Talk That Talk on Nov. 21! And the countdown continues!

I cant stand when people say "oh this is such shit music compared to this" STFU!!! Everyone has different tastes and different opinions of what is good and what is not. Just because you don't necessarily like it doesn't mean its not any good. Music is an international language and it speaks to people in different ways, so even if Rihanna's music doesn't necessarily change the world it makes some people happy, or energized. Get over yourselves.

It's an OK song. I like it, don't love it. But I'm proud of RiRi.

  13. 13

not a song! just the same words over and over and over again….it is painful to listen to!

  14. 14

As someone already mentioned, Calvin Harriss was a huge part of this song. It sucks producers never get the credit, when usually it's their beat that makes the song, We Found Love would be NOTHING without him. I think people don't like it because it's Rihanna, normally people don't have problems with any sorts of electronica variants :S. But congrats to both of them, it's a good song!

It's very easy for the same artists to get #1 songs on Billboard nowadays. It doesn't seem as valuable an achievement as it once was. I wonder why isn't Rihanna albums. She seems to be a singles artist. People like Madonna, Prince and Michael Jackson sold albums and millions upon millions of them.

  16. 16

Re: mistique – Why isn't Rihanna *selling* albums. And also, with the way payola is running rampant these days, its no wonder why people like Rihanna and Katy Perry keep hitting number one. Radio stations are paid to play their songs ad nauseam.

  17. 17

LMAO at all you hating ass bitches! Rihanna's last four albums all went PLATINUM! (A Girl Like Me, Good Girl Gone Bad which has sold over 2.7 million, Rated R, and Loud)! Music of the Sun would have went platinum but A Girl Like Me was released like HALF A YEAR LATER, and it still went GOLD! How is she not an "albums artist?" She enjoys success on ALL FORMATS, like Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson did! Fall the f*ck back hoes! Nothing is wrong with having #1s and platinum albums! PLUS, CALVIN HARRIS GOT HIS CREDIT FOR THE SONG, WHICH IS WHY IT SAYS "FEAT. CALVIN HARRIS!" Stay pressed!

  18. 18

    Congratulations! Well deserved +++

  19. 19

she is selling albums so plz check your facts! her worldwide sales for Loud are huge. It doesnt matter what chart number they reached…its overall sales!

that said, she doesnt write her songs and is really no better than Britney. Both just turn up and sing what others have prepared for them. Puppets. this song is a great club song but lacks substance. And the video is a shocking glorification of bad living. Not a good example to her young fans!

    Re: mistique
Payola is illegal. Radio stations aren't allowed to be paid to play anything. That's just the standard argument everyone throws out when they can't stand it to see someone successful.

  21. 21

I think it's funny how they say Rihanna got another #1. I thought it was Rihanna ft Calvin Harris who is not getting any credit at all from the media. I sure he's going to get paid. If Rihanna gets a #1 album them her label would have bought those CD's in bulks so she can get that #1 spot or sell her CD for $.99. Right now you can see that people are really starting to get very tired of Rihanna and her stunts. We all know she got that Chris look-alike so they can remember that 3yr ago incident. I notice it's not happening. People are saying enough already with that 3yr ago incident you are using for pitty. She really have the mainstream audience fooled big time.

Re: GoodBoyNC – Since since does everybody play by the rules just because something is "illegal"? If you think radio programmers aren't being paid under the table to play songs, think again.I don't have a problem with success. I have a problem with an unfair playing field, where new, upcoming and much more talented artists can't get a break on radio. Got it?

    Re: lacey1
Your comment was so nice, you had to post it twice? Yawn! No, I don't get it, but I get you dear. SMH. I don't doubt that there is shady dealings going on under the table, but saying it is so is not enough. Prove it! These type of things are not taken lightly when exposed (remember Sony?); you might make millions blowing the whistle if you're so sure Rihanna or anyone is getting #1s solely because of payola. Maybe you're bitter because these "much more talented" artists that makes you so cool because you listen to them aren't getting airplay, but airplay is fair play, Missy Lacey. Radio stations play what people want to hear, so perhaps if you want to hear your bands being played, call your stations.
