JK Rowling ALSO Considered Killing Off Hagrid!!!!!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooHarry PotterSad SadBookz

hagrid was almost killed off

First Ron…now Hagrid…who else did U consider killing off, JK? Poor little Ginny?????

Earlier today, we learned that JK Rowling had considered killing off Ron Weasley while writing the Harry Potter books, and NOW she's also admitting that Hagrid almost didn't make it through the series as well!

Apparently, JK became fixated with an image of "Hagrid cradling 'dead' Harry" at the end of the series. If that image had never come to her mind, she says he would have been a "natural" target for death.

More from JK about why Hagrid survived the series:

"That image kept him safe."

Ha! Well if JK ever continues the HP series, we hope some more similar images will come to mind! We don't want to see our favorite Harry Potter characters die!!!!!

What do U think? Did JK Rowling do the right thing by sparing Hagrid's life???
