First Amy Winehouse Track Off Of Her Posthumous Album Debuts! Check Out Like Smoke HERE!

| Filed under: Music MinuteAmy WinehouseR.I.P.Nas

So bittersweet.

As happy as we are to have new music from her, it's only that much more of a reminder that she'll never be able to make any more.

Check out the first song to debut from Amy Winehouse's upcoming posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures - which was compiled by producers Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson with the consent of the late singer's family - called Like Smoke, which also features fresh verses from Nas (above)!

Definitely sounds as though this one may have been recorded earlier in her career, during the Frank sessions, but her voice is as flawless and soulful as ever, and the rapping fits well with the tone of the track!

May Amy be at peace.

You're missed, gurl.

    Lovely……..

These so-called "fresh" verses from Nas completely fuck up the song. They don't even fit the song.

I dont wanna hear some fucking rapper I wanna hear Amy! She wasnt hiphop ffs. I also dont want others profitting from her death!!

Re: XraySpex – I agree. It would have been much better without the rap.

love amys voice, hate the rap. good song over all.

Re: XraySpex – I agree…I love her voice but don't like hearing it with the rap so much…and I don't like his rap much here.

Re: Lasqueesha – I completely agree with you.

The rap crap ruins it, Amy voice is toooo devine to collaborate it with rap. So tired of rap it is talentless and not really music at all. Other than Eminem is all sounds the same.

Hey kids….just in time for Christmas, LOL!!!

I'm glad people think like I do, the song is lovely, her voice is divine, but Nas completely messes up the song. They should edit it out. Otherwise it's a wonderful song and Amy sounds great. It really is a tragedy that this is the very last of new music we will ever get from her. What a waste of such a great talent!

nas was one of amy's favorite artists; 'me and mr. jones' is about him. they were friends. this song is so fitting. also it was recorded in may 2008 not during the 'frank' sessions. check your facts.

LOVE THE SONG. The reason why Nas is on the song is because the track is incomplete! If you guys actually listen and stop being whiny bitches u would hear that Nas is paying tribute to her.

I be out in London, Camden
Huntin’ for the answers, why did God take away the homie?
    I can’t stand it
I’m a firm believer that we all meet up in eternity
Just hope the big man show me some courtesy

I love this, such a nice tribute to the late great Amy Winehouse. Man, I miss her.

I don't think the rapping goes with the track at all, and its obvious it was added afterwards. I really hope this album isn't going to be a complete abortion that Amy would never have released, the experts are saying most of the songs on it would not have been released in their current state (they needed more work), releasing this close to Christmas, talk about cynical!

The song should be released with and without Nas addition…..the rap tip might give this song more Air play, but her voice and tallent stand ALONE.
