This is bullshit. Way to diminish the prestige of getting a star. No longer is it a lifetime achievement, now you can get it after making a film or two. The honor is now meaningless.

I think Kristen is such a beautiful young woman, I dont understand why she always has to go and ruin nice outfits with this silly habit of wearing sneakers to cocktaildresses. It is sooo not edgy, as she might think, and it's pretty much 1996.

Re: MojoMagic – I agree with that. Every idiot can get this kind of appreciation nowadays. The good old Hollywood days have long been over. No more glamour, no more stars, it's just about creating "stars" that are put in a marketing circus to serve as many as possible. They are all easy to exhange.

Re: MojoMagic – in a way, i understand lifetime achievement, but in another way some people, like these 3, reach the stratosphere with their careers, like in these case… it's good to have some recognition for that. in another way, their love story is just perfect in the movies, completely opposite of what we see outside on the tv, i think that's the reason why we love it so much. we are all missing good taste… i mean, you are, cause i don't watch tv for the last 12 years…

Re: Alexima – There are other ways of recognizing participation in a blockbuster trilogy. It's NOT by tarnishing a Hollywood tradition that once meant getting a star represented an impressive, lifetime body of work. You can bet that the stars of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings didn't get stars simply because they were in those blockbuster trilogies. It's asinine. But what do you expect from a culture that now gets its recording stars from reality television. Now getting a star means next to nothing compared to what it used to represent.

What?how lame.I mean,the only reason Robert Pattinson,Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are getting this,is that they're trying to compete with my boyfriend Dan Rad, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.because they've been getting that honor way before these guys did.and it's the same thing with the books and the movies.it's all a competition.but I've been through two books,Twilight and New Moon.but when I got to Eclipse,I gave up.but with the Harry Potter books,I just kept on reading because I stay awake when I read those.

I Totally agree with the comments 6,9,11.12.15.and others who feel the same. It Behooves me how these and other flash in the pan,non-taleted soon to be has been once their long overdue 15 minutes of "fame " is over IDIOTS !! get recognition for something So coveted that others work their ENTIRE Career to Attain. Hollywood has gone to hell in a basket, what happened to those who studied and MASTERED this craft of Acting. You got models, singers and reality personality who wake up one day and say OH I can act now, Such BS. Bring back Bette Davis, Jimmy Cagney,and all the rest of REAL Hollywood STARS that fit this catagory. Need I say more !!!!

dont you think, perez, that rob and kristen were much more open about their body language toward each other here? i think, since kristen's comment about them being together, they are going to be more open about their relationship. i think they might even go so far as to show up at the premiere holding hands or something! if not that, soon.
