Conan Officiates Gay Marriage On TV!!

| Filed under: TV NewsGay Gay GayInspirationConan O'BrienLGBT

He did it!!

We had no doubts when Conan O'Brien announced that he'd be officiating a same-sex marriage on his show that he'd go through with it. Conan is rad so it's completely in his nature to do such a rad thing!

It was a short but adorable ceremony, with both grooms' vows leaving us a little teary-eyed!

So sweet, so awesome!

Check out the full wedding above!

what is so 'rad' or 'sweet' or 'awesome' about a talk show host officiating some sort of marriage between two faags. sounds more like a circus act to me.

Shows that anyone against this or "offended" by this needs to get a life. Fighting against love is the true evil.

  3. 3

    yes, adorable !

Re: buck – Ya, compared to Kim Kardashian's wedding, you heteros clearly know how to avoid a circus.

Once again…feeling the need to keep slamming personal preference in our face….Sick of it. The more you do it, the more haters will come out. Again…another couple making a mockery of marriage. Maybe they can have dinner with Kim trashion. Another reason why I continue to think Conan is a jerk.

What people do in their private lives has no bearing on me and to continually force it on me through the media I chose to watch pisses me off.

Re: buck – Why is it a circus act? It is awesome to some of us because we realize that two committed loving people have not have the same rights as their heterosexual counterparts. I'm sorry that you feel that this is wrong and you have to resort to using such language and name-calling. As for us, we are celebrating the fact that change is still possible and our home states now are in the process of treating us fairly.

Re: Alliestp – No one is forcing anything on you. You are choosing to read this site and you may have chosen to watch Conan. If you do not agree with the site or with Conan, then just tune out. For a community that has spent decades being marginalized, it brings hope to see the public celebration of a loving committed relationship.

may their marriage last longer than kim's.

once again homosexuality is an offense against God and his laws, as is same sex marriage GOD MADE ADAM AND EVE NOT ADAM AND STEVE

Re: JasonDiggy – Love all you like; no one's stopping you. You want civil unions? No issue. Marriage? No. That's an arrangement between a man and a woman. And just because you're for it doesn't mean that anyone against it needs to get life. If you can't handle adversity better than that, maybe you're not ready for a commitment like a civil union. Those against it honestly don't care what you think. You're just not important enough to register. :D

Re: REPUB – Homosexuality is not against God or His laws. It is a secular notion that same-sex loving relationships are inferior. Casting judgment on God's children is not a Christian behavior. But I understand you may have a different viewpoint, but please remember how we are to treat our brothers and sisters. Romans 14.

Re: La Garse – Who defines a marriage between a man and woman? The definition of marriage has changed many times through out history, including polygamy, interracial, etc. Some of the marriages in the Bible are actually between one man and many woman. But leaving religion out of it; why should me and my partner of 4 years not be allowed to have the same rights as a heterosexual couple? Why should we have to pay more taxes then a straight couple? Why should we have to use a different word then marriage?

Re: JasonDiggy – ouch, Dude!!! that was a great slap in the face of Buck!!!! lmao!

Re: JasonDiggy – that was a circus too, two circus weddings in one week. at least we're being entertained.

  15. 15

funny, people see some 55 yo from Utah raping a 12 yo girl and calling it a marriage a normal thing. but when 2 legal consenting adults try to do the same, they're in trouble…

  16. 16

sure good old fashioned marriage performed by a no talent loser web qualified minister of the church of fuck my dog. The circus is in town.

  17. 17

Re: La Garse – HA! Seriously??? A man and woman, what a fucking joke. I'm a straight man that is married and it is what you make it. For you fucking retards to try and put a hetero definition on it smacks of desperation. If 2 dumb ass dudes want to get married, let them share in the misery that is marriage, i've survived it. More to the point, i'm the first to point out something is "gay", i am very politically incorrect, and proud of it. But when you start talking about the validity of restricting ones rights, that makes you a biggot and a fucking douchebag. If you don't like the gay's gettin married, don't read about it or watch it. Their is no sanctity, if there were, more that 50 percent of us would not have gotten a divorce, and we wouldn't cheat, or abuse, etc… Simple as that, when it has to do with ones private life, MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS!!!

Re: JimA – I find it funny that people denounce homo-ness through religion but then accept a magic man in the sky theory as the creator of all. That is funny as hell to me. I wouldn't mind banning religous people from getting married. As a matter of fact, even though i'm straight, i'd rather watch a dude blow another dude than listed some fairyfuckingtale religous sermon. FACT!

  19. 19

I am so sick of everyone getting offended by EVERYTHING! If you don't agree with something, that's fine, but don't be rude.

One day our great grandchildren will look back on this like we look back at women's suffrage. It's hard to believe that at one time the USA didn't allow women to vote. Props to Conan and everyone else who accepts change and promotes awareness for gay rights.

  20. 20

Re: La Garse – I already have marriage. I'm Canadian! In Canada there is no such thing as gay or straight marriage. It's just marriage–equal and open to all. Up here we aren't bogged down by religious superstition like you are.

  21. 21

that was very cool of Conan to do. will have to watch his show more often.
nice to see the same old boring Trolls leaving their same old boring comments. keep up the good work fools. Perez's site would never have lasted this long if it weren't for you.

  22. 22

Re: Alliestp – Yet everyday straight people getting married is forced down MY throat. Guess YOU'RE more equal than I am and deserve to get what YOU want.

  23. 23

Re: REPUB – Go sacrifice a virgin to a volcano, or whatever it is you do, and keep your religious superstitions to yourself. People are BORN gay. Religion is a CHOICE. Just say "NO!"

  24. 24

Re: hoochpit – These religious nuts shouldn't be allowed to have children–forcing their superstitious beliefs on children is child abuse.

  25. 25

    Conan = Awesome

  26. 26

Move on, nothing to see here

  27. 27

Go Conan Go! .. and Fuck psychotic religious dumbasses

  28. 28

    Conan rules

    And so do gay people

  29. 29

getting a bit desperate for ratings are we?

  30. 30

I'm having a hard time understanding why all these people are so "anti-gays" yet they are on PerezHilton.com is is openly gay?? Makes no fucking sense.

  31. 31

Re: buck – if you're against gay people, I think your on the wrong site.
