Ricky Gervais Will Host The 2012 Golden Globes, Says Someone
In "Things That Make You Go WHHAAAAT!?!?" news, there is a report stating that Ricky Gervais will be hosting the Golden Globes next year.
Let's say that again: Someone, somewhere, with some level of importance to be taken seriously, is saying that Ricky, who insulted just about everyone in the industry and their mother the last time he had the job, who was shunned RELENTLESSLY by the head honchos of the awards show for WEEKS following, is being asked to host the Globes again.
Gosh, we can't figure out why we're finding this so hard to believe???
Oh, by-the-by, Ricky has said before that they've approached him to host a third time, and he declined. Either they threw A LOT of money they don't have his way or this is a false report.
Or the world has gone mad, who knows?!

I'd love if he hosted again! He was hilarious! Yeah, he made fun of everyone but these people make millions of dollars to play characters for a living…if they can't handle a bit of ribbing, that's hardly Ricky's fault. The most entertaining celebs are the ones who can take a joke made at their expense. Seriously, Ricky should host all the award shows.
Someone being true to their brand PEREZ and not pandering to celebs PEREZ because they wanted to be "accepted" PEREZ and make little guests appearances on their shows…PEREZ!
