In more "Hollywood has run out of ideas" news, it turns out there are talks of film version of Where's Waldo.
MGM announced that they have purchased the rights of the red-and-white striped guy and are looking to bringing him to the big screen. There's no word on whether or not it will be a live action or an animated film.
MGM President Jonathan Glickman said:
"We are thrilled to be bringing the search for Waldo to the big screen. Along with our partners at Classic Media, we look forward to making a worldwide adventure that will appeal to Where's Waldo? fans of all ages."
Wonder what sort of storyline will go along with the finding of Waldo. And will audiences have to search for him while watching the film? LOLs, who knows, but we're definitely intrigued.
