To massive cheers outside the courtroom and gasps inside, a guilty verdict was reached on Monday!

On June 25, 2009, Michael Jackson was pronounced dead of an overdose. Over two years later and after a grueling six-week trial, the involuntary manslaughter case against Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, has finally reached an end.

The jury turned over a GUILTY verdict in case, siding with the prosecutor, who argued Murray was a reckless physician, who put his own agenda before that of his patients. It took the jury only 16 hours to come to this conclusion.

We hope this brings closure to MJ's family and fans.

UPDATE: Murray will face sentencing on Tuesday November 29th, 2011. Prosecutor asked that he be immediately remanded, and the judge ruled in favor! He was put directly into custody without bail!

I hope he encounters very angry MJ fans in jail. Maybe then, some justice will take place. Even with 4 years in jail, it is not even close to the value of 4 minutes of MJ's life. If MJ lived to 75 to be reasonable, 21 years are left unpaid and let's be honest here, MJ years have an infinite value. Imagine another 5-6 albums, the tour, the laughs, the joys of life.

We will miss you always MJ and we will make sure you are remembered through our children.

All the people surrounding the court cheering this should really kills themselves. calling the doc a murderer?? Really?? the sick fuck asked for the meds , he wasn't drug against his wishes.

  14. 14

Michael Jackson asked for the drugs…he knew the risks he was taking and how his body would be effected by taking so much that a doctor had to administer…He didn't deserve to die, but it sucks that 2 lifes are ruined due to his dependency problems.

  15. 15

    THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. 16

He may be guilty of being a greedy POS doctor, but let's not pretend Michael Jackson was 100% innocent in all this. If this man didn't administer him the drugs then MJ would have found someone else. In the end, Michael and his addiction are to blame for his death.

  17. 17

I realize it is difficult for Jackson's family and fans to wrap their heads around but he was a severe drug addict who had a death wish. he wanted to die and would have found a way no matter what. Blame the doctor if you want but eventually you will have to accept the fact that he hated himself and self medicated just so he could get out of bed and perform.

  18. 18

Are drug dealers charged when drug addicts overdose? I know Dr, Murray is held to a higher standard because as an MD he should have been looking out for MJ's best interests. But when MJ decided to pay Dr. Murray $175K/mo, Dr. M stopped being his DR, and stopped looking out for him because he didn't want to be fired from his high paying "job". But manslaughter, I don't see it.

  19. 19

The guy was being paid $150,000/month by Jackson. He was obligated to let him do whatever dope Jackson wanted to ! Sorry -guilty X 3 !

  20. 20

Jackson was a dope fiend…addiction issues due to an unhappy childhood, and repressed homosexuality. I blame the mother ……..

    LaToya is pissed !

TiTo is a Tea Totaler !

  23. 23

    Death…Death by Propopfol !

  24. 24

He gonna make some nice white dude one righteous Bitch in prison !

  25. 25

I hope this verdict brings MJ's children and mother peace and closure.
I could care less about Conrad Murray serving time in prison, because prison is for people who are threats to society. However, I am glad that his medical license has been stripped and he can no longer practice medicine.
While I am a Michael fan who grew up listening to his music and owning all of his albums, I am not blinded to the fact that Michael was probably an addict and do believe that if it hadn't been Conrad Murray, it would've been another doctor. However, the part that bugs me the most about this is that the man didn't even know how to perform CPR! I know CPR! Conrad Murray should never be allowed to practice medicine again!

  26. 26

he was found guilty because it was MJ. Anyone else this wouldn't of even been a case. Our justice system is a joke.

  27. 27

His sentence should be that a doctor who does not know CPR, should pump him full of propofol and then indefinitely leave the room to call his girl friends.

  28. 28

Michael Jackson was a drug addict.

This man was only responsible for continuing the habit but not killing him.

  29. 29

Re: taty1907 – not really…..MJ was a drug addict…he helped to kill himself

  30. @v@ says – reply to this

    30

Do no harm. What Murray consented to medically in the first place started all the trouble for him.

  31. 31

Re: TalulaKnuckles – Doesnt matter if Michael asked for the drugs - he is a doctor and should have refused.

  32. 32

Re: SomePeopleAreJust STUPID – He is guilty because it was propoful you moron.. not just any street drug or medication that he overdosed on.. He had to administer that to him.. jeez…

  33. 33

Re: Ozz465 – He may have asked for the propofol but he didn't ask for an overdose of it! Murray went against his hippocratic oath, he can't blame anyone but himself. He should have said NO! that simple.

  34. 34

Murray should be charged with malpractice but not the "murder" of Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson is a drug addict and is at fault as well.

  35. 35

Michael Jackson's CD in stores November 21.

    R.I.P. Michael

hey kim k's saggy ass… I dont know what kind of dietician you are but I'm glad your not mine. Drug addict or not, this man took an oath to serve people, not kill them and if you and your"college degree" in which you supposedly studied some methods of medicine are suggesting that he's only guilty of keeping the addiction going, should thus know that for addicts, like myself, that means DEATH! Therfore, before taking his oath he was eduacted on the illness. You should a little something about with you so called degree and all because there are addicts to food you know? Hmm…so your comment is extremely ignorant.
