| Filed under: UsherDavid GuettaCan YOU Sing???

It's time to announce the winner of our most recent "Can YOU Sing? cover competition, this time to David Guetta's superb Without You - featuring Usher - and….

Sometimes less really is more!

Congratulations to Rachel Brown, our very talented winner, who proves that sometimes all you need is a guitar, a beautiful voice and an effective arrangement.

All one take! No pre-recorded vocals! No autotune! No distractions! Just simplicity, rawness and a haunting sweetness!

Sooo lovely! You MUST check out Rachel's cover (above)! We can't stop listening to it!

On the flip side, our runner-up Mike Squillante went ALL OUT for his entry - complete with comedy and acting too!

We could do without the first minute and forty seconds of "shtick" in this video, but when you get to Mike's actual take on Without You, it's really impressive!

He plays ALL those instruments! And his interpretation/re-working of the song is fierce! Check it out below! And…

Congratulations also are in order for our honorable mentions! They are…..

Songs With Friends' Brad Kirsch and Jameson Bass. Their cover of Without You reminds us of U2 meets Keane - and that's a very good thing!

Check it out (below)!

Props to Jessica Ashley! We really dug her R&B take on the song!

Soulful! Check it out (below)!

Congrats to Josh Landon, whose cover is just as dreamy as he is! He will make the girls - and the boys - swoon!

Check it out (below)!

High five to SongstaForLife, Brandon Toy, who reimagined Without You in a GLEE meets >Mike Tompkins way - quite effectively!

Check it out (below)!

Kudos to Chase Jordan for their fun cover. It's a little bit indie, a little bit emo and a little bit dance.

Check it out (below)!

Big ups to NatashaDennis! We really dig their take on the song! It's a bit Sade meets Bob Marley!

Check it out (below)!

Thanks to Mari for entering! She has such a pretty voice! We think she should audition for American Idol or X Factor or a show like that!

Check out her cover (below)!

It's nice to see Missy Modell again! She's entered our "Can YOU Sing?" cover competition before and we really like her take on Without You!

It's a pure pop rendition of the song with some '80s influences to it. Love those synths!

Check it out (below)!

Thank you sooooo much to everyone who entered!

We LOVE doing this!!!!

And we've discovered a lot of great talent through this competition!

Mike Squillante has a nice voice but his video before he starts to sing is retarded and wth is with the bop it toy… so stupid i couldnt listen to whole song.

Re: leokade – Agree 100%! That Bop It toy ruined it for me as well. I didn't like the silly intro - it's "Can You Sing" not Last Comic Standing. I made myself wait through it but was already irritated, and then the Bop It…. Dude has a great voice but made 2 really bad choices that overshadow it.

eh i didn't find rachel's that exiting? and i thought his voice was a lot better

    WOW!
    Mika Squillant is magnificent!

she has an amazing voice, but there are a couple affectations that take away from her talent. the pronouncing 's' sounds as 'sh' is an overdone, really irritating thing a lot of female singers seem to do. As well as the attempt to kind of growl out certain lines instead of just singing them plainly. the parts where she lets her voice run natural are beautiful. my advice would be to stick to that.
