Normally, we'd shun such a maneuver, but in actually, this might be the best thing for everyone, especially the Queen herself.
The studio behind Madonna's new movie W.E. has decided to push back the release date of the film to February 3rd. While the film will still run for a qualifying week in December (Oscars, Oscars, Oscars!), the official date has been pushed to capitalize on the hype of Madge in the new year. This new date is closer to the Super Bowl, where Madonna will be performing at the half time show, and the release of her new album.
Besides, if the flick makes its full debut at Christmas time, its going to have a lot more competition than it can handle. Too much, in fact. We don't want her movie to get lost in the shuffle … do you?
