Swifty Wins Big! Taylor Is The CMA Entertainer Of The Year!
A more than well deserved honor!
Last night, Taylor Swift walked away with a top prize at the CMA Awards. She won her second CMA Entertainer of the Year trophy and took the moment to thank all the other artists who performed with her along the way this summer on tour. This was after she performed what we can only assume will be her next single, Ours, quite beautifully for the crowd.
Other winners of the night included newlyweds Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton for Female Vocalist and Male Vocalist for the second consecutive year, Jason Aldean, who won his first two CMA Awards for Musical Event of the Year with Kelly Clarkson, and Album of the Year for My Kinda Party and The Band Perry who won their first Awards for Single of the Year for "If I Die Young" and New Artist of the Year.

What a pleasure it is to watch the CMA's. No profanity, over sexuality, crouch grabbing, gold teeth, backwards hats, fights, disrespectful ingrates. Just nice, wholesome, good looking entertainers with positive attitudes and positive songs. Everyone just seems so happy as oppose to the rappers and rockers where their attitude is that they are doing us a favor for showing up.

Re: princess323 – pretty sure jason aldean did not accomplish the things taylor swift did this year… selling out stadiums all around the world, hers and lady gagas album sold more than anyone else in like 5 years.. taylor swift puts on one hell of a show

Anyone who says she doesn't deserve it obviously doesn't know half the things this young lady has done this year. She's not Billboard Woman of the Year for being f**kin cute. She's had the most successful and international tour this yr amongst all the ones nominated in that category. 6000 country association voters and they definitely got this one right. I just think she was snubbed for AOTY but hey reigning ACM and CMA EOTY 2011? Not too shabby for a 21 yr old!
I'd be happy but surprised if this was her next single. She released this song on the bonus CD, she's never done a single off of a bonus before. She DID say that she was shooting a video and did just release the three bonus songs on Itunes though. This one is a lot faster paced on the original, but I love this version.

She has two sold out headlining tours and 3 multiplatinum albums. I understand that you don't like her, but music taste is subjective. Just because you think she is boring doesn't mean everyone else does.
she so knew she was winning that award, she definitely exaggerated that "shocked reaction". so annoying -.-
I'm so happy that she won, I was hoping she would. She's an amazing artist & human being!
