Are U still rocking out to Rihanna's latest and greatest that debuted this morning? Us too! It's killer! It's fire! We can't turn it off!
This morning, RiRi premiered the song You Da One with On Air with Ryan Seacrest and revealed that she does nothing but what is right for her fans and her musical integrity. She said:
“It’s all about the music. I don’t want to become a gimmick, ever.”
Never, girl! NEVER!!!
As for the rest of the album, RiRi shares that it will have "a little bit of a reggae vibe,” much like this second single, and that she can't wait to see her fans reaction to the disc in full when it drops. She adds:
“I cannot tell you how excited I am. I know the songs that I’ve loved and to see people react this way … I get excited.”

RIHANNA'S LOUD OUTSOLD KELLY'S LAST ALBUM, ALL I EVER WANTED! Rihanna sold 1.5 million! Kelly couldn't even actually crack a million, being somewhere around 900K! And Rihanna's album came out LAST YEAR! Kelly's came out TWO YEARS AGO! Anyway, Rihanna is a great artist, even writing some of the songs on this album (like she did on A Girl Like Me and Rated R). You bastards can hate all you want, but Rihanna is at the top of her game right now and has yet to slow down! With every release, she gets bigger! The reason there is a second single is because this song is more URBAN, where as We Found Love is POP (like Only Girl for pop and What's My Name? for urban last year).

its nothing special and sounds like a generic reggae-lite skip along from 10 years back. Not unpleasant but far from anything great. And Im a fan not a hater. her album sounds like its all over the place musically.
I like Rihanna but this song as well as the other song she just came out isn't doing it for me. Why are these "artist" so quick to release an album back to back, it leaves no time for creativity. She's not evolving, she needs to go back to her "Umbrella" days.

and Rihanna is NOT a song writer. Yeah yeah she gets her co-write credits but thats just so she can rake in royalty profits. In truth she prolly just writes a few cliched lines and a professional writer then takes them and makes a decent song out of it. any idiot can write some of the lines in her songs.
