Oh, say it isn't so! What would the world be like without the hunkiness of Brad Pitt!!!

In a interview with ustralian chat show 60 Minutes this weekend, Brad admitted he's planning on retiring from being an actor when he turns 50. Apparently, he seems to think his days are numbered as a viable actor and will take the extra time to be with his family and step behind the lens for awhile.

He said:

"I've really enjoyed the producerial [sic] side and getting stories to the plate that may have had a harder time otherwise."

But, but, but… only 3 more years?! It isn't enough time.

At least say you and Angie will get in a sequel to Mr. and Mrs. Smith in before you go? Puh-leeeeeeease!!!!

who cares he hasnt done ANYTHING worth a shit in 10 years or so

  4. 4

If he cares so much for his family, why doesn't he just quit now? And Mr. & Mrs. Smith sucked.

  5. 5

    Good riddance!

  6. 6

That's because of his cigarette smoker skin. He has never had a clue how lucky he has been.

I like him as an actor, but would be interested to see what he can create behind the lens as well. But I don't think an actor stops being viable after 50! He may not be as well suited for leading man action star, but surely there is a place for all ages on film.

"ustralian" what the fuck is that?
Is that the country where people (perez) who refer to themselves in the third person live?

  9. 9

well they all say that hes had a school full of kids to feed so i though he does that he seems like a nice guy but money money always calls but if he directs hell get more money brad its aging so thats a good way to retire he still looks good

Good!!! Besides Ben Button and Legends of The Fall, what has he been in that is so noteworthy? Mr/Mrs./Smith was good but that was more about the action and the scandal, than the acting ability. He won't retire anyway, he is an attn whore.

Publicity stunt. And if it is true, it is ling overdue. I can't wait. He should quit now and raise his kids, instead of hiring others to do so.

Dude is a pretty mediocre actor anyway, can't really think of a memorable movie he's been in.

  13. 13

Good, get going and take your hideous wife with you. The less I have to have these shits pushed in my face by the media, the better!

  14. 14

I honestly wont miss him. None of his movies moved me at all, and prolly one I remember more or less but only cause someone made me watch it like 4 times.

  15. 15

Who the hell cares? He's not that great of an actor anyway, especially compared to Angelina Jolie! That is the baddest bitch in Hollywood!

    Bye

Good for him. Go be a good dad. :-)

  20. 20

Why wait 3 years?? Do it now please.

  21. 21

hallelluyahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….you can take the whore too . hope both of you dissapear permanently.

  22. 22

    why wait?

  23. 23

whats really sad is that he thinks he is relevant enough for people to really care. He isn't a great actor. What a self important prick! He may be retiring earlier than that to be a stay at home dad if he doesn't get his malnourished baby momma to start eating !

  24. 24

Liar….he'd miss the attention too much.

Re: REPUB – Yeah. That's why people are already saying he should get an Oscar nomination for Moneyball, right?
