Miley Cyrus Insists Alcohol Is 'Way More Dangerous' Than Weed! Shares Her New Priorities As An Adult & Artist!
Perhaps Amanda Bynes would have been better off giving Miley Cyrus her bong!
The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.
Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:
"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."
That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:
"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."
She added:
"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...
As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:

Warrior was so much better than I was expecting. And if Moneyball wins ANYTHING, I'll stop watching the Oscars. Frankly, I should say that about any nominations it gets too, but I still have faith that they'll laugh that dull drama off.
I hope Harry Potter gets an Oscar.

Limitless and the Devils Double were two of the best movies i've seen in awhile. Both are great stories, make you think and have believable characters (good acting), however neither of them are up for consideration that I can see.
Green Lantern and Moneyball were two of the worst from this year. They have actors I like but the movies sucked. Meh…The Oscars don't seem to reflect exceptional work anymore, just popularity.
LMAO about your "WTF" on Green Lantern. The movie was decent. Rango was AWFUL. Harry Potter was amazing. Single tear. Out of all of them Super 8 though should definitely win Best Picture. I freakin' loved that movie!!!

I honestly haven't seen them all, but I'd like to see some of them win an oscar.
The Artist was incredible; Warrior was so much more than I thought it would be; Glenn Close is always fantastic; and the last Harry Potter movie was excellent. The acting was not strong enough to win an oscar in the "best actor/tress" category though. Although, to be fair, it's mostly because of the characters, not the actors.
Green Lantern is obviously a joke. Rango does NOT deserve an oscar. Super 8 wasn't great. It was an entertaining summer movie, but that's all.
I hated Tintin. Something about how it looks. I find it really disturbing. Either way too realistic, or not enough. Plus, I'm not a fan of the books, so…
Haven't seen The Ides of March yet.
And Moneyball seems overrated. But it hasn't come out here yet, so I'll see.
The green lantern pic was funny but it'd be hilarious if they put images from that horrible Jack and Jill movie Sandler did.
So happy to see Super 8 and Harry Potter here. I thought both (along with Water for Elephants) have been the best movies of 2011 up to date. Green Lantern? One of the worst!
Harry Potter should win. It's TEN years in the making. Not to mention Emma Watson said she spent more time playing Hermione than being herself. They deserve this. TEN years of hard work. Not to mention, they improved so much each movie, as far as their acting goes. DHP2 was amazing. I'm a Harry Potter book fan, and still this movie did it for me. They did a great job.
This movie was crap at the bottom of my shoe. If it gets nominated for an oscar I'm going to drown myself.

That costume is so awful. Compare it to ANY of the Batman costumes, and it just sucks. They should have used an actual costume, and not gone the GCI route. Also, that mask is so stupid. The comic book version looks of Green Lantern looks WAAAYYYY better!
Are they serious…? And if the academy is/isn't considering you a stupid poster won't change anything. Would like to see Harry Potter get something (maybe Rickman for best supporting actor) but doubt it will happen.
