Twas a good night of music in the land of Glee!
We have to admit upfront that the performance of the night, without question, was the Adele mash-up that was released earlier this week. Hands down, it stole the show, but the rest of the musical line-up was pretty solid too. In fact, it was probably one of the more fun episodes musical wise.
Things kicked off with Mark Salling shoe-in solo for the next tour, Hot For Teacher, which was great because A) Idina Menzel was a sex kitten and B) Darren Criss was a better, sexier sex kitten! Meow!
Then, the mash-ups came and we were please for no other reason than to have some of our faves finally get to sing together. Idina and Matthew Morrison teamed up for a You & I cover that was really pretty. Then, competitors Finn and Santana (Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera) lead their teams in an ultimate dodgeball face-off to Hit Me With Your Best Shot and One Way or Another. And finally, the New Directions channeled the 80s (which they should never do again) with some insane costumes and mash-up of two Hall & Oates classics.
Check out the latter in the video (above), then check out the jump to watch the rest.
Which was UR favorite performance of the night???
