ACLU Threatens Ohio High School With Lawsuit Over Anti-Gay Bullying

| Filed under: Gay Gay GayLegal MattersSad SadLGBT

Whatever it takes to put an end to such AWFUL behavior in schools!

Check out the video (above) about a high school freshman who was badly beaten up by another student because of his sexuality.

When the student and his mother contacted school officials, they refused to help, and now the ACLU has taken on the case.

We're glad to hear that the ACLU is supporting this student, but we seriously need anti-bullying laws to be instated in the United States and abroad to stop this once and for all!

As we've said many times before……. #makealawforjamey

Perez, if there were anti bullying laws then I have no doubt that you would be jailed for LIFE. You have, are and will always be a bully. You bullied Rebeca Black today with your sarcastic and belittling posts about her new songs. What's really disturbing is that you really get off on bullying the weakest members of society, that of minors. You can talkl all the airy fairy " I have changed " Bullshit you like, but you are one venomous mother fucker and no amount of PR from you or your team will ever change that. You cannot help it, because you have a deep seated loathing of yourself so you lash out on others. I should actually feel sorry for you but I don't. You physically disgust me.

YES TO ANTI-BULLYING LAWS! Parents of bullies should get a nice hefty ticket while their stupid children get some detention and counseling. That's what bastards get for having kids and not raising them to treat others with respect and be a good human being!! Bullies are burden on society and their parents are pathetic and should be ashamed. And yes, it's always the parents fault. Children learn their behaviors from home!!

Please email the faculty at this school and let them know IT'S NOT OKAY TO LET THIS HAPPEN.

Re: kirknyc24 – I just do not think that is the answer. students will be affected when the school then does not have the funds to provide proper education.

The last paragraph is right except for one word. INSTATE should be INSTITUTE. Whom ever wrote this article should have a proofreader before posting. There is a difference between the two words.

Your agenda seems to be plugging along, but why does you anti bullying campaign NOT include GAY CHILD RAPE. Seriously is there any bullying more violent than an adult male anally raping a 10-year-old child. COME on peeerex admit it, not every gay thing/person is good.

    Go ACLU!
I can't believe this is still happening in 2011!

Violence is an effective way to facilitate change. Look at what an ass Mario was until the manager for the Black Eyed Peas smacked him around and put him in his place. Violence works. The gays need to be beaten back into the closet where they belong. Otherwise there will be more incidents like the gay pedophile rapes at Penn State.

Bullying was going on long before the media started focusing on the gay students bullying. Did you anyone care when students that weren't gay were bullied or committed suicide?
