Susan Lucci Shuts Down All My Children Sabotage Rumors
La Lucci is firing back!
Rumors say soap legend Susan Lucci was a reason All My Children was not rebooted online like originally planned.
Lucci posted on her Facebook page that the rumors are "completely untrue" and that she found out the show wasn't going forward through the media.
La Lucci posted on her page the following:
I've been in discussions [to stay with AMC] since Prospect Park first expressed interest in moving the series online, and [in early September] I made it clear that I would be ecstatic to be a part of All My Children in a prominent way if they committed to producing the series for another year.
Prospect Park and their website, TheOnlineNetwork.com intended on putting the series on the web but shelved it.
AMC was bumped by One Life To Live, the only soap on the site.

Re: CatAttack – Susan Lucci WAS "All My Children". And for the past 40 years. Obviously, Prospect Park/TheOnlineNetwork.com wouldn't sign the commitment $$$$$$$$ to make it happen. And without Susan Lucci they knew they had nothing - because of their own financial decision not to commit.
I really hate that they ended it on a cliffhander and now it will never have a true ending, screw you guys!
She needs to start dressing her age. Gross.
Re: boston61 – I think she looks pretty darn good for her age and I used to watch this soap all the time with my Oma (grandmother) and then on my own. ABC made a really bad decision.
