Why Stacy Francis Thinks She Shouldn't Be Held Accountable For Her Lackluster X Factor Performance

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooMusic MinutePaula AbdulCeline DionSimon CowellX FactorReality TV

Goodness gracious, is Stacy Francis becoming the Lindsay Lohan of X Factor or WHAT?!

She has an EXCUSE for EVERYTHING!

After her lackluster performance of Celine Dion's It's All Coming Back To Me Now on last night's episode, after which she was given less-than-stellar feedback across the board by the judges' panel, the reality contestant spoke out against them with claims that she was being picked on!

She says:

"I got beat up tonight. I felt like it was really unfair. I didn't feel like it was a fair evaluation. I'm not one to toot my horn. I'm very hard on myself as an artist, but I was later told that I was not off-pitch at all and Paula [Abdul] said I was flat. That wasn't true. Simon said I sounded like a cabaret singer and yet the same thing that I do when I first got here, that he loved in my first audition, now he's beating me up. I don't know if it's because I'm not in his category….because Melanie came on and did an R.E.M. ballad and I did a Meat Loaf ballad, and she got a rave review. I don't get it. It's very hard as an artist to separate we're on a television show and this is for ratings or drama. You want to know the truth what they're saying in there. You want to know what do you really think of me. I want to know if they're really speaking from the heart: Is this really how they feel or is [Simon] trying to win the competition so much that he's going to throw me under the bus?"

Of course, in a later interview, she did a complete 180, and now claims that her performance WAS poor, but because of her nerves:

“Unfortunately the judges got in my head before I got out there. I heard how mean they were to LeRoy [Bell] and I felt so bad. People were telling me to hold on because the judges were being mean to everyone tonight. It’s no excuse, but when I am nervous and emotional I don’t sing well. This process is very hard and each week I am doing my best to not allow my nerves to take over me. Last night I didn’t do well and when I finished I kind of felt bad, but the look on my face was pure shock. Simon said it was soft, but this contestant came after me and sang a soft song yet he stood up. It’s all very confusing for me.”

We wonder if she even THINKS before she opens her mouth!

The only thing consistent about anything she says is that it's all DELUSIONAL!

Excuses aren't going to get you far in this business, gurl!

Time to learn how to take criticism, accept that some people might know better than you and trust that they're ultimately trying to be helpful, and most importantly, keep that mouth shut unless it's SINGING!

And for everyone else, ch-ch-check out the disastrous performance (above)!

Expression on her face at the end, face like a slapped arse!

Stacy, you need to get it into your head that Scientology lied to you and turned you into a big fat liar. What they told you is NOT true. When you fuck up it isn't everyone elses fault, it's yours!

  2. 2

Damn, you are kind of a dick. If she was a lesbian or a transexual I'm sure you would be singing a whole different tune.

  3. 3

Perez, you are REALLY shitting on this girl. Yeah, she wasn't at her best last night, but you are clearly out to throw her under the bus. Nice to see you're back to being a BULLY … it's what you get paid to do! NONE of the acts last night stayed true to the "ROCK" theme … even that little Astronugget … he sang a RAP song and he was highly praised for it. This show is rigged! And you're still a BULLY! Drama sells … things don't change!

Not that I even like Stacy but man you are still the bully you always have been.

  5. 5

Not going to lie, she is pretty horrible.

  6. 6

Granted her performance was pretty bad, and oh yeah, she was flat. Your post though singling her out isn't surprising - why do you keep picking on her?

  7. 7

i dont like stacy as a performer….but you going all cristina aguilera on this girl…the same you bullied xtina and tore that girl apart you doing to stacy..if you dont like he r leave her ass alone..and like the post above me said if she would of being lesbian or transexual you would of been up her ass……

  8. 8

How hard do you think it would be Perez to get up on stage and sing in front of millions people.. and then have someone tell you your not great. Hard. Giver her a break. Be kind.

You should take your own advice.

What irks me about some of the contestants on these shows is that they were basically rolling tacos for a living before being on the show and the minute a judge actually has the nerve to critique their performance they get all hissy and uppity. None of them would ever make it this far in the real world on their own but they sure can get an attitude pretty fast. And Stacy's performance was awful on Wednesday.

  12. 12

Next she will be saying "they didn't pick me because I'm a scientologist"… in 3…2…

I understand the idiots at X Factor making this mistake, but seriously Perez? How could you not have caught this. It's All Coming Back to Me Now was not originally sung by Meatloaf! Meatloaf wanted to include the song in his Bat out of Hell II album, but the write of the song didn't allow it and gave it to Celine Dion instead you bunch of dumb asses. How could you not give one of the best singers of all time her credit. She's been singing it since it was released on her 1996 album Falling Into You. Where are all the pop culture enthusiasts here?!

  14. 14

    And she's gone. Yay!

  15. 15

The whole show was horrible this week. Rock? I think NOT. How did a rap and a hiphop song every become rock? Stacey needed to go the moment she was caught out on her lies. Besides, her wig really bothers me.

  16. 16

stacy did do the worst out of everybody this week but you dont need to be so hard on her perez, jeez. but im quite surprised for somebody thats a broadway girl as well as being in the music business for quite a long time to not be taking her criticism well. she acted the most immature about her critique last night. her voice was everywhere, her tonality was definitely flat, and was using way way way too much vibrato, plus she felt and looked confident while she was performing so i dont buy that her nerves got the best of her shit. she has been on broadway for years… like hello? anybody's nerves would go through the roof more so performing on broadway than doing a 3-4 minute x-factor performance. and dont say oh its 5 million dollars excuse either cause lets face it, the over 30's are not gonna win x-factor. poor excuses coming from a "professional" like her.

  17. 17

For once I agree with PeePee…this girl is the WORST. She looks dirty to me and she was so OFF TUNE that it was criminal for her to even be in this competition.
When I heard that she was a scientologist it was the icing on the cake. If she doesn't get the boot tonight I don't know what this world is coming to! She was even worse on Amazing Grace tonight. Get her out!!

  18. 18

wow…Meatloaf should sue for this first degree murder of a song. It was absolutely horrific!

  19. 19

the song was all over the place and she couldnt control it. She got lungs but is very much suited to a certain genre. An saying "my fans" seems a bit big headed at this point. And Mario yes you are bullying her.

  20. 20

It’s no excuse, but when I am nervous and emotional I don’t sing well.

A 5 million dollar act would never have that problem.

  21. 21

Perez, seriously, grow up. Whatever jealousy or hate you guys have against this woman needs to stop cause you guys are starting to sicken me and draw other readers away. Her performance was bad the other night and no one denies it. Hey, I only liked Joshs'. But can't the girl react how she wanna? Can't she change her mind on what she says a day later? Why are you attacking just this sole contestant? Be mature and write more interesting things bout the show. Perez, YOU are getting more and more annoying as you target certain individuals. DON'T BE A BULLY ONLINE. And Stacy, you go girl. All of you guys are talented!!!!

  22. 22

The Devil is a LIAR, and that b'atch is a LIAR! LIARS NEVER WIN ANYTHING. That's why YOU remains a Failure! Now go punch some more holes in condoms and get knocked up with another bastard baby and milk that daddy and his family for every dime you can get. That's your only talent Stacy. You fucked with my family years ago and now its pay back time. 5 million dollars????? HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Everyone has already seen through you and now you've show 30 million people what a fake ass b'atch you really are and will go down in history as a first class busted b'atch! AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA. YOU LOOKED LIKE A OUT OF SHAPE DRAG QUEEN TRANNY ON THE SHOW AND YOU CAN'T SANG WORTH SHIT EITHER. HHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAH. GO PICK A SCAB B'ATCH!

    YOURE A IRRELAVENT STA-TIST!

as a vocal student on 10+ years, i'd say she was definitely flat enough that it was painful on a few key notes in the song where she should've been able to keep it just a little more lifted as a singer on this darn show. i don't know how the other performers were as i don't watch the show regularly, but it seemed like she was a little too focused on vibratos and showing off the 'powerhouse' quality of her voice, when she should've paid more attention to hitting those CELINE DION notes a little more crisply and richly..she was definitely flat frequently enough that i felt underwhelmed when it came time for her to hit and hold out some fantastic note. i don't know if meatloaf ever covered this song or was the actual original artist but i thought this was a celine song? meatloaf did 'and i would do anything for love…but i won't do that.' and i won't be supporting this stanky face lady [i would've had a fug facial expression too after that performance] unless she puts more effort into working on her pitch problems. IAWU PEREZ.
