If it doesn't, it won't be for lack of trying.
Rumor has it (ruuuuuuumor) that the newly revampd verision of Leap of Faith that was performed in Los Angeles, is doing all it can to be picked up in New York. Starring Raul Esparza, the show began readings in the Big Apple earlier this month, with presentations to potential investors just last week. We heard things went well and if all goes to plan, we could be seeing this baby on the big stage as early as Fall 2012, with Raul still in the lead.
So far, all we know is that producers have cut 25 minutes off of the show entirely and are looking for $10-15 million to get it up and running. Time will only tell if both of those decisions were worth it. Brooke Shields sure as hell didn't think so, since she high-tailed it out of there to go star in The Addams Family musical.
That's sort of telling!
