Here's some crazy news for ya!
A woman in Memphis is under investigation for falsely representing rapper Master P in her illegal "church" solicitation ring.
Alisa R. Harris used a mail-order minister ordainment to obtain church status for taxes. Where is this church? One of her old apartments! ha!
She uses this "church" status to lure donations and hire ex-cons. She'll pay her employees $10/hr to solicit donations for her "church" and the "Corey Miller Foundation" (P's brother, aka C Murder) from unsuspecting residents of the community.
Investigators soon found her "foundation" to be illegal. It is definitely not a registered solicitor with the Tennessee Department of State.
She also lists twelve Tennessee non-profit organizations as affiliates on her website, but the leaders of each deny any connection.
Wanna hear something else shady?? She uses the terms "pimp" and "crackhead" as categories for job applicants…
When asked about it, Master P says:
This is crazy. She needs to be stopped. Just to have somebody use your name and don't even know you, it's not even fair.
But when you ask her about it, all she says is this:
I'm doing this as something I am doing from my heart. And I'm creating hope for people that don't have any.
Ha! That woman sounds cray cray!! We hope Tennessee does something about this and fast!
