natalie wood case reopens

We certainly weren't expecting this.

Yesterday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department announced that they are reopening Natalie Wood's 1981 death case.

Natalie drowned while boating off Santa Catalina Island, and it was deemed an accident at the time…but now we're hearing that MAY not be the case.

Here's what the Sheriff's Department had to say about it:

"Recently sheriff’s homicide investigators were contacted by persons who stated they had additional information about the Natalie Wood Wagner drowning. Due to the additional information, Sheriff’s homicide bureau has decided to take another look at the case."

Wow. We seriously can't believe they're reopening this case so many years later!

What do U think? Will they finally find out exactly what happened to Natalie Wood???

She was drunk when she died (about 8 glasses of wine, it says in the report). She was on a boat and she slipped and drowned. Accidents happen. This "source" came out with a book 2 years ago that has not done well in sales. The "Captain" is looking for a boost in sales on this book. In the book, he says he "thinks" that Wagner was responsible, but he has no proof of this. Just a gut feeling. This isn't about justice; this is about a spike in book sales.

I have always thought that hubby 'helped' in her demise.
    .
No matter how good looking the woman, there is always at least one guy out there that sick of her sh*t.
    .
And sometimes, it comes down to a 'swimming lesson'.

I remember this, being ancient myself. There were so many questions surrounding her death, so many rumors..and this was way before the internet. She was rumored to have been having an affair with Walken, her then co star, but there they were, with her husband on a boat together and she ends up drowned. Mario, drowned to death is redundant. Maybe 30 years ago, the police did not talk to the captain of the boat and any other workers. Who knows? Some celebrities are able to 'hide things' and since Wood have very young children, the police might have been doing them a 'favor' by not digging into the case.

Hey Perez… if you are going to keep stealing news from websites trekmove and aintitcoolnews about the new Star Trek movie, you should at least quote the source. At least those two sites say which site thay got the news from. Hell, they have even said when they got news from your site! Pay it forward. Stop being a thief.

I think after the fight she drunkenly was getting into the boat and slipped and fell. I think RW saw her but decided to teach her a lesson and let her float around for a while to scare and sober her back up…he just let her float too long and she died.
