Los Angeles County sheriff’s detective Lt. John Corina held a press conference today to speak on the departments new investigation into the death of famed Hollywood actress Natalie Wood. Shrouded in mystery, new details have emerged to give the police reason to reopen the case. However, Lt Corina specified that there are no suspects being considered as of yet, including Robert Wagner.

It has long been debated whether or not Robert had a hand in his then wife's death. So many things about the night are unknown that it is hard to be sure if blame should be cast on anyone. But for those who are not familiar with the story, Robert refers people to his memoir, in which he talks about the fateful night Natalie was taken from the world.

In his book, "Pieces of My Heart,” published in 2008, Robert explains that he was in a very tense mood over an argument he was having with Natalie and Christopher Walken, who was traveling with them. He mentions Natalie arguing with him when he wanted to bring their yacht closer to shore, and then later, “quite a bit of wine,” being enjoyed by all.

Robert recalls he got “pissed off” when Walken began advocating the “total pursuit of a career,” urging that Natalie agree with him. However, by this time, Natalie had left the two men at dinner to retire to the main cabin at the back of the ship. That is when the men's argument got heated and Robert slammed a wine bottle so hard it broke.

Robert then adds:

“The last time I saw my wife she was fixing her hair at a little vanity in the bathroom while I was arguing with Chris Walken. I saw her shut the door. She was going to bed.”

The rest of her evening remains a mystery.

This wouldn't be the first time the police have tried to find new answers, but perhaps this will be the last?!

I have always believed he played a part in her death, if not directly caused it. I really hope the police look into this and actually do a thorough job, because there's always been enough evidence to suggest there was foul play. People are finally starting to listen and see it.

How sad. I like RW and CW and hope neither had anything to do with it. It is odd though that she was on a boat in the ocean if she was afraid of water. Could the two of them have plotted against her? I sure hope not. So sad. I wonder what info. has come to light this late in the game?

    Gay Love Affair …. ?

This is stupid. They say she would never have got in the dinghy because she was afraid of the water. Yet, she bought a yacht and was on the yacht. She got into a fight with her husband, she tried to be dramatic and take off in the dinghy, she was drunk, she fell and hit her head and drowned.

I can't get over how much Natalie looks like Lindsay Lohan (when she had the dark hair a couple years back). Movie op?

If Natalie was afraid of water, why would he bring up the fact that she argued about bringing the yacht closer to shore? I had heard that she had an affair with CW while on set of "Brainstorm". RW was never as big a star as NW, nor had the true talent that CW has. He thought he would be losing his Hollywood standing if Natalie moved on. He was tired of her drunken demanding, whining. He heard the splash, the struggling, but being drunk himself, he wasn't "sharp" enough to realize the reality. On the other hand, being an actor kept him focused on only himself. Chris was in the galley, cooking up a snack at the time.

Always has to be a mystery when some one gets drunk and fights with the husband and the man on the side. They fall off a boat and right away it is murder because some drunk that calls himself a ship captain lies?? then writes a book and benefits from it and the sister writes a book and makes money off Natalie too then he changes his mind and wants to change his story because Wagner won't cough up cash for him and runs to the sister who also wants to make more money of her sisters corpse. So they blame Wagner or Walken. She was DRUNK they were all DRUNK and fighting and acting like morons as drunks do. She fell off the damn boat and stop trying to make a name for yourself..the capatian the sister and the cops that thinks he is going to come up with something secret thing and prove that this drunk lieing captain has a reason to lie? lol Natalie had a reputation for sleeping with her leading men and I am sure Walken was dipping his wick and Wagner was pissed. BUt Wagner was used to it. He divorced her the first time for doing Warren, then she bought that boat and named it after the movie she and Warren did..Splendor" that had to feel good for him. But did he murder her? roflmao I doubt it, why would he? All he had to do was divorce her again. Someone is lieing ehre and I think it is the 2 people that are busy writing another book and it isn't RJ.
