But wherever he is now, we're sure he is happy for his crew. His legacy will live on through their music.
Bruce Springsteen has confirmed that the E Street Band will be touring this coming year. The band will take to Europe for the summer months, so we imagine they'll be back in the states by the end of August at the latest.
This will mark the band's return to the road in three years and the first time they'll be touring without their beloved saxophone man, Clarence Clemons, who died just last year.
While the tour will be somewhat somber, it also will be very exciting for fans of the band, as Bruce also revealed there will be some new music to enjoy come 2012. On the band's website, he wrote:
"In addition, we want you to know that the music is almost done (but still untitled), we have almost settled on the release date (but not quite yet), and that we are all incredibly excited about everything that we're planning for 2012. That's all the info we have for right now, but we'll get back to you–real soon."
We can't wait!
So, how many shows will the Boss sell out at Giant Stadium this time, we wonder???
