Watch Beyonce's Dance For You HERE!

Take a break from all that online shopping! It's sultry time!

Beyonce has just released the official music video for the very sexy Dance For You track!

It looks like she was inspired by the classic LAPD films, and we're definitely diggin' the vintage feel that comes with that.

As for the song itself, it's just all right to us. Nothing too special, nothing bad. But her hair in this video is fantastic!

What are UR thoughts on it?

    Mediocre at best.

  2. 2

alright song, but of all the 4 bonus tracks it's the weakest. she should do lay up under me.

  3. 3

agreed, mediocre is generous. beyonce knows nothing about subtlety. her lyrics are obvious, like they were written by a 15 year old with no world experience. her dancing looks like she is following along with a 'learn stripper moves in 3 minutes' video. she is so over the top with everything that she outshines her own talent. i don't know who is more over-rated, her or rihanna.

  4. 4

    She couldn'tmake a bad video.
    She is just FANTASTIC.

BORRRRRRRRRRRRRR-INNNNNG. "gonna put your body on his body….blah, blah blah. Guess you've already put your thang all over everyone in the music industry to get as far as you have because you have NO TALENT!!! Be careful, you might hump that baby loose. 'Ho.

Re: ChunkiMunkee – narrow minded so much. hate that

She's going J-Lo, meaning at one point biggest star but now trying to grasp any straw to stay relevant. Sad. But I love her though. Here comes the movie career being boosted up since in music she's suffering big time.

I want to buy that hair too!

  13. 13

She's gorgeous but the song is so-so.

this ISH is so silly and childish. so she was a few months preggs when she did this? and somebody explain why a supposedly happily married woman is dancing around like a stripper singing some kindergarten lyrics? DESPERATE. and those dance moves are the same gyrating she been doing for the last 10 years. I guess she done run out of ideas to steal

    I liked it

barely made it pass minute 1… she should have some dignity and just retire now that she has a baby…..

No subtlety, romance or mystery there…it's all right in your face. Help yourself.

I get it. She's in her 'sexual' stage., and we all have to watch.

I could see Beyonce doing torch with a big band, chandeliers and classy clothes. She could mature and stretch those skills, because she has them under all this. Shrugs.

Umm… I think you are talking about noir films… I'm sure that there are some noir films about the LAPD but typically they are about private detectives and loners, who don't usually play well with others (like policemen should). Jeez, dude, get some culture. Anyway, I did like the idea of the video.. but she could have gone so much further with the noir idea and tell an actual story (think how Lady Gaga does her videos). Plus, in noirs, it's usually a beautiful stranger that walks into the room.. so this is kind of the opposite of what this style of storytelling is about…. Where's the mystery?!

Not loving the (slightly demeaning to women) lyrics…the video had a touch of that too but I actually enjoyed the vibe of the video, how it as filmed, the black & white…the guy was kinda creepy though and there was zero chemistry between the two of them haha…that took away from it some. Could've been better but overall I like it!

  24. 24

Re: alix2468 – Oh yeah, I liked the idea that this was inspired by noir films - but somehow it didn't completely come across and work…I needed a little more chemistry between them lol.

Re: @v@ – She's been in her "sexual stage" for awhile now though it seems!

  26. 26

    soo fucking usual.

  27. 27

all this oversexed shit is getting old.

  28. 28

boring, the overly sexual thing is dated and that tramp wouldn't know class if grace kelly stood in front of her

She's one of the premiere female performers of this generation, and it irks me that they have her bumping and grinding for some random guy to 'thank' him for whatever.

  30. 30

Re: @v@ – I agree - that's what I was referring to when I said "demeaning to women." It brings to mind more that she is a stripper and comes across as cheap. Yes, this is what the top female performers seem to be required to do - cheapen themselves.

She wanted to incorporate the film noir idea as a theme for the video - Maybe she's the "beautiful stranger" that someone mentioned above. Yet she's singing about being totally into her man and respecting him - yet the man in this video seems to be a stranger to her…and that would explain why they have no chemistry. Who is this guy? The video doesn't portray him as her long-term partner. I can see where she was going but it just didn't execute well.

  31. 31

Did you mean inspired by film noir, Perez? Honestly the song does not go with the visuals. Her bump, grind, and hair swinging are misplaced here. Film noir is a darker concept, and this to me feels like one more thing Beyonce just HAD to try that, again, didn't work with her type of music. Stick to what you know, Bey.

Ahm, fucking love everything she does. Ah, say what you like, there is no one out there that does what she does better. Hella yeah.

I wanna see!!! Love Bey!! Nobody is better!!!
