Natalie Wood News! Captain Claiming Robert Wagner Silenced Him Passes Lie Detector Test!

Well this definitely makes things a little juicier! and sadder…

The captain who has been claiming Robert Wagner silenced him the night of Natalie Wood's death passed a polygraph test!

According to him, Robert insisted he didn't turn on the search light when Natalie's disappearance became known to cap'n. He also says Robert told him NOT to tell the police about anything he heard that night — including the yelling and fighting between them.

Even though Robert is said to be cooperating with police now, why would insist on no search light back then? SHADY!

anyone who can prey on vulnerable seniors like he and the fonz with reverse mortgages leaves little doubt to their lack of moral compass…

  2. 2

Lie detectors really don't hold much water, there are too many variables that can cause false readings.

  3. 3

He may have passed the lie detector but he has had 30 years to convince himself that this was really the truth. Ever hear the saying, "you tell yourself something for so long it becomes the truth?" He has had plenty of time to really convince himself of a story

  4. 4

He took the lie detector test in 2008

  5. 5

I believe him on the issue of not turning on the lights because the fact is, the Coast Guard was not called in until after 4am - four hours after they knew Natalie was not on the boat. I've always wondered what Wagner was doing all that time. If they had reported her missing right away maybe she'd be alive today.

decades after the fact- the captain-who was admitted he was drunk the night Natialie died- he now comes out and gives this story
don't you think that if Wagner had done somehting wrong, that Christoper Walken (who apparently was also in love with Natalie and on the boat) would have spoken up before now!
    .
back in the day with the big studio stars - it's like they called the studio head before they even called the cops- whch is why theories and doubts linger ..for examle when Marilyn Monroe was found dead, you know thhat the studio and the Kennedy's knew before the cops and coroner did
    .
that was just how they handled things
wasn't right but wasn't unusual at the time with stars of that magnitude
and Natalie was of that magnitude

So three years ago he passed a polygraph about things that people have known for years and he has no idea how she died. Doesn't prove much of anything actually.

  8. 8

How does someone silence you for 30 years????

Have you seen how old Wagner is?

  9. 9

Polygraphs measure reaction, not truth. They are now even considered to be a scientific form of information. Why do you think they don't use them in court you moron.

my neighbor's ex-wife makes $75 hourly on the internet. She has been without a job for 5 months but last month her income was $7643 just working on the internet for a few hours. Read about it here CalmCash. com

What does this matter now? Shes dead, and that doesn't change anything.
    .
If they do, intend to continue this investigation, more shady shit is going to be found out. Theres so much that happened that night that is unknown to this day. I really do wish justice to be served, regardless if it actually did anything (as kim k's saggy ass [lol'd] said) hes really old so I doubt jail/prison would do anything but it would at least be the 'right' thing to do.

I read on the three-letter gossip site a few days ago (super late again) that even though he passed, it doesn't mean much since lie detectors measure your belief in what you're saying and he very well could believe things that aren't true considering how drunk he was that night.

Maybe you should read all the reports. The news said he passed the polygraph but that he was so incredibly drunk that night, which the captain has admitted he was, that what he thinks he remembers may not be accurate at all. So because he believes it he would easily pass a polygraph. No different then if you got drunk off your ass and think you fucked bieber but you really didn't. But if you took the lie detector test you would pass the question, did you fuck bieber, because you were so drunk you actually think you did.

    Murderer !

  15. 15

R.W. AND C.W. going down on each other, Natalie catches them, runs away, slips, falls, and dies….

  16. 16

I understand that night Robert Wagner said to her: O.K. - Have a few drinks, but don t go overboard …|

It would seem obvious that the search lights were never turned on since the yacht was in a marina with many other boats. Other surrounding boats would have noticed searched lights in the water - lights that would have been on perhaps for HOURS looking.

And in an interview with Natalie a few years before - when the Splendor came into their lives - she repeated that she was terrified of the water, rather hated boating and (most importantly) RJ did all of the piloting. It was his baby and his hobby. While there was a captain the trip that Natalie died, Wagner would have known what to do, how to do it - including both turning on search lights AND tying up a dinghy (if such was, in fact, bothering Natalie). The whole tying up a dinghy story was only courtesy of Wagner anyway. The captain, Christopher Walken, and obvously, Natalie never told that version of events or what she was doing. Only Wagner tells of that whale of a tale.

    and the plot thickens

Are you even kidding me here ~~
That prick killed Natalie b/c he was jealous of her!!
He pushed her into the dark water “ and let her drown!!

Glad that the investigation will at least raise their sweat factor. Natalie deserved better than what happened. This death has always been fishy but can't be sure of anything.
From the sounds of things its too bad she wasn't surrounded by real men.

  21. 21

The only reason I can think of that makes sense as to why Robert Wagner did not want anyone to look for Natalie in the water is because he knew if she came out of the water alive she would reveal to others that he hit her (there were bruises on her body) during their last drunken argument that night, and that he pushed her in the water in a fit of drunken rage. Maybe he didnt mean to hurt her or kill her, but he was DRUNK….and people can get very aggressive when they are drunk. Maybe he was afraid that if she was rescued she would "tell" how he hit her and shoved her in the water. That would have surely been a scandal, it probably would have hurt his career, and they probably would have gotten a divorce. Maybe he didnt want to face any of that so leaving her in the water for hours might "get rid of the evidence" of his crime. Once she was silenced there was no one to accuse him of anything…..except of course the drunk captain.

  22. 22

    Tooo Late for her!Mr.Coward-Captain!

  23. 23

Well, the only person displaying any violent behavior is Robert Wagner, by smashing a wine bottle on the coffee table. Running true to form, he probably pushed Natalie in jealousy, saw her bobbing like a cork in her down jacket, AND THEN SUFFERED AN ALCOHOLIC BLACKOUT. He couldn't remember the truth if he wanted to. It made perfect sense at the time, though. Was the boat "Splendour" named from "Splendor in the Grass"? Her money and his toy?

  24. 24

He didnt want it known there was an argument because then just as what is happening now, he didnt want to happen then. This drunk old man was as drunk as every one else or HE woulkd have done HIS job and turned on the lights period. Wagner could not have fired him he worked for Natalie. SO now since the drunnk has convinced himself that what he thinks happend is the truth of course he will pass a test, I dont believe wagner killed his drunk wife and neither did Walken and Walken did not sit there and let Wagner lie. This is not going to fly in court after they get done with this old drunk. It is Hollywood so there has to be a mystery to ehr death. How about got drunk ,took out dingy to go to shore to get more drunk, fell off boat. Drunk captian and husband and her new hump did not go looking for her. Drunk captain wrote book and is now out of money, needs to write new book so claims wagner killed the drunk wife. but not her new hump.
