Charlotte Church: I Sang For Murdoch's Wedding In Exchange For Good Press!

| Filed under: Tacky & TrueCharlotte Church

We thought the whole Rupert Murdoch mess was over — at least when it came to any more juicy details coming out.

But apparently not!

According to Charlotte Church, she was approached by Murdoch's people when she was 13. They informed her he wanted her to sing at his wedding.

In exchange, she could accept a hefty fee or good press…

Initially she thought the money was a better option but was later talked into the good favor. Unfortunately, the press didn't favor her the way she would have liked. And she blames them for the messes in her career.

Naughty, naughty Rupert!!!

Watch the video above for the rest of the details from Charlotte's mouth herself!

lol well she never got the good press! and why would a 13year old need good press anyways? she was all sweet and angelic back then doing classicals. I dont believe what she says. Another one claiming hacking and probably gonna sue. they can all smell money…

Let's see… Good press or money from Rupert Murdoch? Good press
    or money from Rupert Murdoch?
Yeah, I think I'll take the money.

Um…Perez you do the same exact thing. Celebs treat you well in exchange for good press. There is a very public letter on the internet where you were having issues with some guy at a PR firm about a year or so ago where it blatantly shows how you deal with celebrity gossip. You are a cog in the Hollywood machine, so you might want to get down off of your high horse.
