That's right, according to a source, Joan may be more on the mend than we might think:
We have a feeling Jim's going to make a BIG BANG on Broadway! Ha!
Last April, The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons had a supporting role in The Normal Heart, which marked his Broadway debut. Jim's performance, of course, was well received.
This May, Jim returns to the stage in the Roundabout Theater Company's upcoming revival of Harvey, in which the actor will play Elwood, a "genial eccentric who claims to see a six-foot-tall white rabbit named Harvey."
The role was previously played by legendary actor Jimmy Stewart, who starred as Elwood in the 1950 film AND in multiple Broadway productions.
Preview performances of the play will begin on May 18 at Studio 54, and the official run of Harvey will take place between June 14 and Aug 5.
We'd LOVE to check this out! Jim is an incredibly talented actor, and we'll expect to see his face on both Broadway and TV a lot more in the coming years!!!
What do U think? Can Jim Parsons live up to Jimmy Stewart's performance in Harvey???
