Trailer Released For MTV's A Tribute To Ryan Dunn

| Filed under: TV NewsMTVBam MargeraJohnny Knoxville

For a bunch of guys from a show called Jackass, this group has a lot of heart.

Earlier this month, we were pleased to hear that MTV was putting together a tribute show for Ryan Dunn, who passed away after a fatal car accident back in June.

Now, the trailer has been released (above), and the show premieres tonight at 10:30/9:30c.

As we mentioned before, Ryan's Jackass co-stars & close friends will tell stories about his life during the show. That list includes Johnny Knoxville, Rob Dyrdek, Wee Man, Chris Pontius, Jeff Tremaine, and Bam Margera.

We're glad that Ryan's loved ones were given the opportunity to pay such lovely tribute to the man on TV. This will definitely be worth tuning in for.

Will U watch MTV's Ryan Dunn tribute show tonight?

This alcoholic pot smoking slob and murderer doesn't deserve a tribute.

I'm sorry, but a guy who put his life and other's lives in danger by driving drunk doesn't deserve this much attention. He killed himself and his friend. I understand his family's right to grieve their loss… but I've seen less tribute given to people who actually deserve it. Give this air time to someone who died helping other people… not someone who made a selfish/dumb choice and chose to get behind the wheel after drinking. This is a sign how messed up MTV's agenda is.

WTF MTV???!! THIS MAN IS NOT HERO WORTHY! WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING YOUR YOUNG VIEWERS! THAT YOU'LL BE REMEMBERED FOR MAKING DUMB-ASS CHOICES? WTF??

He also could have killed many others in his drunken driving madness!!! I seriously don't understand why he is getting so much attention?! He did nothing for society but show us that you can make money by putting your health and life in jeopardy. Grr…

Really people? does it really matter how he died? obviously it was stupid and a danger to others but that doesn't mean people don't care, so he made a stupid mistake and died, doesn't mean he wasn't a good person. if you're parent/sibling/friend died in a dumbass way would you want people saying horrible things, would you not care that they died? no. the point of this is to remind people that he was a good person regardless of what happened.

I'm watching it now. It doesn't matter how he died(yes, it was pointless and stupid) but he was still a human being. He touched many lives and many people miss him a lot. God bless him, family, and friends may the find peace.

It's amazing how hateful people are, especially when you're safe in your home cowarding behind a computer…it's like magic…POOF! you got balls now. It's comforting to know that there is and will always be MILLIONS of people out there who love and support the Jackass family and Ryan Dunn DESPITE the mistake he made that fatal night. It's so cliché to say but true: We All Make Mistakes…get over it…there is nothing we could do about it now except RESPECT him and his family by keeping your disgusting comments to yourself. It's one thing to express how you feel about the situation…there is nothing wrong with that…but when you start making accusations and name calling, you are just making yourself look bad, but If that is what you have to do to make yourself feel better about your pathetic existince then go ahead because I'm sure Dunn would gladly take the heat if it made you feel better, because that was the kind of person he was, always loving, always kind and wanted to make people laugh and smile. The tribute was heartfelt, honoring a great man…not because of what he did on screen but because he treated everyone with the same level of resepct whether they deserved it or not and because of the person he was off camera which is clearly hard to find these days in people…

Oh yes, by all means put on a tribute episode praising the idiocy of a man who got piss drunk and got into a car with another person and proceeded to drive like a retard and killed both himself and his friend. He's a murderer, not a fucking hero. The entire jackass franchise never should have been allowed out the gate, it's a poor message to young people everywhere and I have no doubt is contributing to the fact that people are getting dumber. This moron could have hurt or killed a lot more people when he got behind the wheel that night, not just himself AND HIS FRIEND. I'm sure the family of the other person is just thrilled with this "tribute". Disgusting
