Kentucky Church Sees The Light! Overturns Ban On Interracial Couples!

| Filed under: Icky Icky Poo

So the church that banned interracial couples from its worship? Yeah, they realized how wrong and disgusting they were being.

Thanks to the spread of information, the church felt a hellish heatwave of questions from believers and non-believers all over!

So they reflected and found the decision to be discriminatory and have decided to only promote "peace, love, and harmony" from now on.

GOOD! We were seriously concerned for humanity there for a second

I have a feeling they only did it because of all the bad press.

Martini, would have to agree but as for Mario being seriously concerned for humanity now that is a joke, his hypocritical stances and carefully selected (gay) views are a joke to humanity. As this person is even relevant by any means.

A voice can make a big difference.
But i somewhat agree with the first poster, bad press played a big role in them changing.
But i'd rather have that happen, than for them to think what they did was ok, and get away with spewing their hate.

I agree! No way would they have had a change of heart without the media attention - I think the Pastor should step down - he says he didn't agree with the ban to begin with but let's be honest here it was on his watch - Pastors are expected to do more to prevent things like this

finally - a church sees an error in theie logic and fixes it! progress!!!

Let's all pray together for the downfall of hypocrisy and Perez.

They did not see the light. They saw the dollar $igns … Or rather, the dollars they could be losing. Churches are exempt from paying federal income tax. If they break the law (for example, discriminate against people based on race) they can lose their status and in turn have to pay taxes (like a private organization), which could mean tens of thousands of dollars or more. That would bankrupt any church. So while it is great to know they have reversed their decision, I wouldn't be jumping up and down about it. It didn't come from an honest place.

So this couple tasted what gay people does when people opposed to their marriage in our era !

    Re: DSummerfan
Umm no, they tasted racism. It's been here a very long time. No need for comparison, prejudice sucks in all it's forms

Im SO glad I live on the East Coast. Those folks out there with little exposure to LIFE, have tunnel vision and they arent afraid to show it either.

"Ignorant & want" - 2 things mankind can do without.

They only had a change of heart because of the media attention. Just because they changed the decision doesn't mean they changed the way they feel about interracial couples.

    How big of them…

Re: tulipwalk – Kentucky is in the Eastern time zone and is only one state removed from the coast, so we're not as far away as you think, and we're not all underexposed idiots with no exposure to life. Incidents of ignorance and racism happen everywhere. It's not like everyone who lives in a large city is kind, educated, and tolerant.
