Michael Bay Set To Return For Transformers 4

Michael Bay is currently in the final negotiations to return as director of the newest Transformers flick.

While not official, Paramount believes the deal should get done soon.

Filming would begin in winter of 2012 once Bay completes his passion project, Pain and Gain.

Deets on the new Transformers flick have been kept mum but reports state that the film may delve deeper into Transformer lore.

While older characters may be resurrected, the film will not be a prequel.

Pain and Gain will star in spring 2012 and the director is eyeing Dwayne Jonhson and Mark Wahlberg.

The dramedy follows two bodybuilders stuck in an extortion ring.

    Hey Bay, make sure you get some vapid starlet to whine to the main character about how he should be going with her to a fuckin' cocktail party instead of saving the world.

    The last one was like the half-aborted lovechild of Howard the Duck and the Last Airbender.

    Wait, no, I take that back, I'd rather watch the above over and over (with Fran Drescher playing the main female lead) than have to sit through another Transformer movie.
