Listen To This: Like Shooting Stars

| Filed under: Listen To ThisParamore

This is so lovely! And unexpected!

Paramore has dropped their new single, In The Mourning, and it is unlike anything they've done in the past!

With hints of country music, the new song reminds us of Beth Nielsen Chapman, one of our favorite singer/songwriters!

Check out the oh-so-pretty In The Mourning (above)!

What the heck? Has Paramore changed musical direction? This isn't rock, it's folk. I get artists want to try something different, but to depart his far from their roots. I'm not loving their new direction.

This song was released for the fans as a part of their website paramore.net "singles club". you have to go on the website to purchase this song along with "Hello Cold World" and "Renegade".

This version of "In The Mourning" is in a different key and is faster than the one they released on monday.

listen to "Misguided Ghosts" off of their album Brand New Eyes and you won't say it's that different. they have not changed their sound, they are simply embracing the music they grew up with.

Re: Moniker – It will probably be ONE song on their new album just like others. One song doesn't change their entire sound.
