Radiohead And Massive Attack Support The Occupy Movement!

But they're not just making videos from home about it; they're actually going down and doing something about it!

To show their gratitude to the Occupy movement in London, they surprised protesters with a secret DJ gig!

Thom Yorke of Radiohead and 3D of Massive Attack lent their support through musical motivation, and the crowd loved it!

MUCH better than some energy drinks, huh??

Watch the video to see them DJ for URself!

SENATE BILL 1867 : "INDEFINITE DETENTION LAW" BILL
The recent passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (Senate Bill 1867), otherwise known as the “Indefinite Detention Bill,” should scare the heck out of anyone who cares about the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  This bill effectively hands over control to the military to arrest, torture and even kill terrorists on American soil.  It also allows the military to hold suspected terrorists indefinitely without a trial or due process.  This applies to both non-citizens and citizens of the United States! With this bill, you are not innocent until proven guilty.  You are guilty until proven innocent, and you may never get a trial to defend yourself.  There is surprisingly little written in the mainstream media about this Senate bill that passed 93 to 7 at the end of November.

I think the whole occupy - insert your location here - is fully off the tracks, and has been for some time. The concept is solid, but it's attracted too many fringe element types. As scumbag reporters continue to interview the looniest supporters of the movement, the whole effort begins to looky equally looney.
The right to peacefully assemble and protest is guaranteed by law. But many of these folks want to occupy and never leave. Eventually, their tent cities get out of control and they refuse to disperse.
My impression is that none of this has really helped, despite massive media coverage. It looks like business as usual to me.
